To participate in the Haiku Music challenge::

- Make a song in response to the weekly assigned poem (a new poem is published every Wednesday)
- When choosing a title for your piece also include the assignment number, for example “Title of your track (naviarhaiku382)”

To submit your track:

- If you’re a Soundcloud user, upload it on Soundcloud and send me the URL via private message, or tag me in the track.
- If you upload your music on Youtube, Bandcamp or anywhere else, upload your submission and then send me the link by email at marco@naviarrecords.com or contact me on X, Facebook or Instagram
- If you don’t use any music platform, upload it to this Dropbox folder and I’ll include it in the weekly playlist. If you choose this option, make sure you include your name in the track’s title. www.dropbox.com/request/JvKyUfuCSzJ3gRNRocZz

Jason Richardson is a Leeton-based musician and poet who’s collaborated with Naviar many times over the last few years: in 2014 his music was part of the sound installation we made for the State of Origin exhibition in London. In 2017, Jason and Marco from Naviar curated together the exhibition Crossing Streams in Narrandera. In 2021, Marco interviewed Jason as part of our series of online events, Naviar Virtual. Another witches’ brew of sound, lost and found. A drone track of uncertain origin mixed with a heavily mistreated recording of my dog howling, combined with three stretched and pitch-altered versions of a recording of brass sleigh bells treated with excessive amounts of delay and a few other Audacity plugins.

Jesús Lastra aka Voidborn Horde, is a Venezuelan ambient electronic music composer born in 1986. Since 2002, He starts this musical journey by exploring experimental sounds, influenced by ambient music and soundscapes that evoke vast and ethereal imaginary worlds. Under the alias Voidborn Horde, he has developed an unique style with electronic elements and ambient textures, finding a kind of "false enviroment sounds" to give the listener an immersive and dreamlike experience. His music is characterized by its ability to evoke neutral deep emotions and meditative states of patience, making him a reference in the ambient music scene.
