I made this for astronomy class in less than a day lol

Lyrics:

Verse 1
Stars are formed from dust and interstellar gas
In a place that’s very dark and cloudy, and really cold as well
And when that mass builds up, into a dense big ball
The massive core starts to collapse, under the weight of its gravity

Turbulence increases, causing the ball to spin around
And the pressure makes the heat increase and continue to contract
Soon there forms a disk of other star material
And jets of gas stream out the poles and starts to shine really bright

Nuclear fusion is what happens in the core
After it gets hot like really hot for the process to commence
It makes the star remain in equilibrium
That’s the final step, there's nothing more before the star has been born
