Raroh is an electronic music producer, DJ and performer born and raised in Warsaw.

His music oscillates between ambient, hypnotic, hazy and intense sides of techno. His main musical goal is to tell an immersive story in which the listener can become completely immersed and lost.

He has played his live shows sharing the stage with artists such as Blazej Malinowski, Milena Glowacka, Birds Ov Paradise and Retina.It at Up To Date Festival 2020 or performing alongside Vril at Slovenia's Mladifest Festival 2019. He has released several vinyl and digital EPs, including a 12" split with Głós, a solo 12" on Unknown Timeline Records, a digital EP titled "Above The Ground" on No Way Records, and his latest album The Sky Keeper's Tale on Australian label Agos.

Joton is an undisputed figure in the Spanish underground electronic scene, having spent over two decades dignifying his profession as a DJ and producer, crafting unconventional sounds that have inspired artists worldwide. Working out of his studio in León, Joton has developed his own style of techno, infused with a classic sensibility that has resonated with fans across the globe. As the founder of Newrhythmic Recs, Joton has supported national and international artists for over twenty years.

As a tireless and prolific creator, Joton has had his work published on prestigious labels such as Fabric, Modularz, Quartz, Odd Even, Symbolism, Planet Rhythm, Raw Raw, Dynamic Reflection, and Skryptöm. His tracks have been played by renowned artists including Ben Klock, DVS1, Rødhåd, Dave Clarke, Ben Sims, Oscar Mulero, Surgeon, Truncate, and Go Hiyama.

In 2015, Joton released his debut album, «Casting Out Nines,» a work that received critical acclaim and established Joton as a force to be reckoned with in the techno world. The album was presented in ten countries across three continents, cementing Joton’s status as an international DJ and producer. In 2017, Joton returned to his roots with «R3silient,» an album that explored his purest and most analog side.

In 2018, Joton continued his prolific output with two new works, «Antioquia» on German label ODD EVEN and «Extreme Measures» on RAW RAW. In addition to his DJ and production work, Joton is also a respected educator, offering interactive production courses that help aspiring producers refine their techniques and develop their sound. His latest album, «Hikikomori,» released in 2021, was born from these courses and is a collaborative work that speaks to the experience of isolation during the pandemic.

Over the years, Joton has played at some of the world’s most iconic clubs, including Tresor in Berlin, REX in Paris, Corsica Studios in London, Grelle Forelle in Vienna, Propaganda in Moscow, Domunne in Tokyo, Vault Sessions in Amsterdam, Razzmatazz and Moog in Barcelona, Gare in Porto, Infra in Boston, Under Club in Buenos Aires, Stardust and Fabrik in Madrid, and Sound Department Italy, among others. Joton’s enduring legacy as a producer and DJ has had a profound impact on the techno scene both in Spain and around the world.

‘An Unseen Balance Between Light And Darkness‘.

Host of the podcast series ‘Adjust (BE) Invites’, he invited numerous DJ’s and Producers to make a signature guest mixes, with over 130 episodes spreading over 2 years and reaching out to new listeners each month.

In 2023 he started a new and hypnotic/deep-techno-exclusive podcast called ‘Anhera’, which translates to ‘Darkness’ in sanskrit, and with every full moon or solar eclipse, a talented and highly respected DJ/producer creates a unique story.

His style of performing and producing can be described as a perfectly carved out balance between light and darkness, cheerful and melancholic, where he guides you through the various realms of underground techno music, where you’ll find yourself in the most disturbing, hypnotizing and captivating journeys and where there’s no time, no space, but only the low end frequencies, the screeching synths, the confusing percussive elements, which are surrounded by the most beautiful and enchanting ambient soundscapes. And thus the pure reflection of his inner darkness.

Rhythm, colour, and movement play a constant role in his musical journey. Known for his musical adaptability, he effortlessly delves into experimental domains, merging acoustic, analogue, and digital realms. By digging into many genres, he draws inspiration from a wide range of musical traditions, contributing to the unique and multifaceted nature of his musical output. 

His ability to seamlessly fuse elements of hypnotic techno, leftfield, uk bass and ambient music showcases an artist who navigates uncharted sonic territories, yielding a unique sound marked by rhythms inspired by ancient traditions, exotic instrumentation, and vibrant textures. This innovative work, released under his imprint Dans le Desert, has received acclaim from respected media outlets such as Orb Mag and Juno, leading his music to find a home on Polygonia's label, QEONE. 

In addition to his solo endeavours, Tomasz finds joy in collaborative projects, particularly in working with fellow artists. One notable collaboration led to the release of a project called "Aromatherapy" under Moonlight Resort Spa which was recorded in partnership with Michał Wolski. This collaborative venture showcases his ability to synergise with other artists, creating unique and compelling musical experiences.

RETROSPECT 119: Cafe de la Jungle

This mix is a representation of my latest DJ sound, for those chill spaces in outdoor settings. In the last year or so I've been on hiatus DJing as I was focused on being a new dad, but in that time on many car trips from my country abode I dug into the world of Psydub and explored it's sonic landscape honing in on artists and releases that complimented my taste in organic sounds and fusions of world sounds. 

This mix might also be coinciding with an artist applications for Esoteric 2025 ;)

Inspired by the symphony of urban noises, the tranquility of nature and other profound experiences, this venture took shape in 2022, though its roots trace back to 2015 when Stergios first embarked on his sonic voyage. 
Through striking performances both within and beyond the town of Thessaloniki, often in collaboration with Ergotherapy and Brutal Erotica, audiences have been left entranced. 
Releases like the 'Bitter Bliss' EP, along with his captivating sets, continue to embody his energetic mentality."

I had the honour of opening for Thaalam record's recent party celebrating their 1 year anniversary(26 Oct 2024). I found it quite difficult to play on a proper sound system again after soo long, but I persevered and was super grateful for playing my favourite tunes in the space they were intended to play, outdoors in mother nature.

A downtempo psy set for a day party I hosted at Nevedya in November to launch the promotion of our Magus Symphony event on Jan 17 2025 at Sooki Lounge Belgrave. It was a super nice set to put down, and I even had a little b2b with my 19 month old son Bodhi who did some scratching on the first track :)

Amanita Awakening opening set - 9 Nov 2024

This set was recorded live at Nevedya on Sunday 27 April 2025, was playing from 4pm until close at 7pm. A part of me didn't want to play, I was tired and had a depleted social battery, from a weekend of socialising and jamming. It was a very intimate gig, with just a few locals on this particular Sunday gathering. I took the crowd on a journey starting with psychill and worked my way up to dark prog going into twilight/psytrance, finishing with some experimental DnB produced by my good friend @mahemproductions . The event will hold a special place in my heart as my two year old son was in attendance, and was having a good stomp to the music I was playing as well as insisting on seeing what I was doing behind the decks :)

Meet Mihow: a Polish born, Australien raised sonic alchemist whose journey has spanned the vibrant cities of Melbourne, Amsterdam, and Kuala Lumpur. He has refined a unique taste for down-tempo psychedelic grooves, enriched with cross-cultural, mystical, and esoteric elements. Mihow carefully fuses ancient and modern sounds, crafting an auditory experience that pulses with tribal rhythms, syncopated beats, gnarly bass lines, and glitchy, organic soundscapes.
