Is modern life sucking you dry? Void Vampires want you to listen up. Modern post-punk Londoners Jessie Jayne and Kunwar Singh want you to listen to their cautionary tales of the misuse of technology within modern society. Imagine if the band Dry Cleaning, Kae Tempest, English Teacher and Idles met up with Savages and Siouxsie and the Banshees at the graveyard at midnight in 2024 to talk shop about AI ethics and society today. Jessie Jayne preaches sarcastic vocals over Kunwars art-punk stylings.

Partial Eclipse

Taken from my third LP, Corkscrew Soul. 

Written, recorded and produced by me. 

This is a stripped back track without drums. I wanted there to be some friction for the listener, so it's not meant to be the easiest of listens in places; there's at least one discord in there. During the cello line in the chorus, I imagined an elephant trudging off to die alone, which might be the most pretentious thing I've ever said. 

But I hope it's an interesting track nonetheless with different layers to explore. 

This song also has a sister track, Winter of Discontent of Your Life, which is the last track on the LP; I Won't Be Found coming at the halfway point on the album. 

Does it all make more sense now? Probably not.

Unedited segment of the May 11 captures of the class X gemomagnetic that rocked the skies with so many auroras.  Returning yesterday, May 13, to the open meadow location where this unedited recording took place, dooning the hadphones and flpping the switch, there was nowhere near the amount of activity as on May 11, underlining again the uniqueness of the event itself which astronomer's are saying is the strongest in 21 years and comparable to the Carrington event.
