Returning to Purified Records, rising talent CEAUS unveils his ‘Castille’ EP - featuring two cinematic cuts that showcase his distinctive melodic touch. The title track glows with rich textures and emotional depth, evolving into a sweeping, atmospheric journey. ‘Rush’ follows with crisp percussion and heady soundscapes, blending subtle energy with an immersive, introspective mood. Following his standout collaboration ‘Nova’ with Heard Right in 2024, ‘Castille’ marks another striking chapter in CEAUS’s rapidly rising trajectory.

Taken by Juan Mora, the ‘Castille’ EP artwork shows thriving coral reefs in Gorgona National Park in the Pacific Ocean, Colombia. A Colombian biologist, UW photographer, and expedition leader, Juan has dedicated his life and work to ocean advocacy. His camera serves as a powerful tool to share his passion and highlight the importance of protecting our planet.

To help protect places like Gorgona, supporting local, science-based efforts is key. Corales de Paz (Corals of Peace) is a Colombian non-profit leading participatory coral reef conservation by engaging divers, fishers, and coastal communities in monitoring and restoring reefs, they are building local capacity to ensure Colombia’s coral ecosystems thrive for generations to come.

Returning to Purified Records, Russian duo Garlington present their evocative ‘Chasing The Moment’ EP. Opening with ‘Remorse’, they set a reflective mood with emotive melodies and a subtly grooving rhythm, building a rich sense of depth and atmosphere. ‘Weightless’ follows with a lighter touch - blending crisp percussion, airy textures, and luminous piano chords into an elegant indie dance moment. Closing the EP, the title track ‘Chasing The Moment’ delivers a dreamlike journey through flowing synth lines and immersive soundscapes, striking a perfect balance between serenity and drive. A showcase of Garlington’s evolving sonic identity, this three-track release reinforces their place as a distinctive voice on the label.

Taken by Rachel Moore, the ‘Chasing The Moment’ EP artwork features waves crashing on a barrier reef on the island of Mo’orea, French Polynesia. Rachel is a professional underwater photographer and environmental advocate dedicated to capturing the wonders of marine life. With a special focus on the grace and intelligence of humpback whales, her storytelling inspires a deeper connection to the ocean and a commitment to its preservation.

French Polynesia is home to one of the world’s largest and most remote marine protected areas. A fine art photographer based in Hamburg, Germany, Jan is known for capturing abstract landscapes of the northern latitudes. With a focus on water, ice, and intricate natural patterns, his work reveals the beauty hidden in the subtle details of the world around us.

Alaska’s waters are among the most productive in the world, sustaining rich marine life and vital fisheries. The Alaska Marine Conservation Council (@ak.marine) champions sustainable management of these ecosystems, working with communities to protect fish habitats and ensure a healthy future for marine resources.
