Jay has been delivering music to the underground dance community for over 25 years. Bringing the analog and digital worlds together in perfect harmony: funky, uplifting, hypnotic, deep but danceable, whether in the club, in the lounge, on the playa, or on a beach in Miami, for the legendary Yellow Party at Love Burn,  Jays sets are meant to take you on a journey, Music that awakens the conscious, and stirs the soul, with an emphasis on seamless transitions meant to keep you going onward and upward. Expertly crafted mixes that push the boundaries of what dance music can be, not just synthisizers and drum machines,(though there’s plenty of that) but real people playing real instruments too. All locked together in a steady danceable groove.
As a producer, his releases on Kolour Recordings, Phat Farm Music and 10mm Omega have reached the top 20 on the Nu Disco charts, been featured in traxsource's weekend weapons, and deep house essentials and been supported from Djs, Soul Minority, Oscar P, J&M Brothers, Rick Preston, Sleazy McQueen, John Howard and Alexander East. He also plays drums, performs, produces and records with several other projects in the Charlotte NC area; Muchacho, Heart of a Ghost, Jason Herring and the Mystery Plan and a new project in the works, Midlife Niceness along with That Guy Smitty.
