Cowriter for Vonlust / Freelance Bass Player.

Vonlust is a Los Angeles based ‘twisted’ rock band formed in 2011. This mood-triggered melodic duo, is lead by LA native Vanessa McNiel and accompanied by Gabe Maska, originally from Brazil. The two met in music college. Shortly after, they started this band (previously known as The Velvet Teaparty). After years of writing and performing together all over the LA scene with a visit to South America, they began writing their upcoming release. The two have fashioned a sizable and loyal fan base as a result of their highly energetic live shows. The name Vonlust debuted June 2016 to a packed house at The Viper Room in LA.  	Vanessa is a powerhouse vocalist who will send chills down your spine while she tickles your mind with thought provoking lyrics and sets the stage on fire with her raw attitude. Gabe grooves a mean bass guitar, sings the grittiest backups and is a complete madman onstage. Together they have not only found a convincingly strong bond as songwriters and performers, but also as lifetime partners. The group will be back in the studio in 2017. While keeping their rock roots in the new sound, they aim to innovate and explore fresh ways of delivering their songs.
