this is the 12th release of the label,
A compilation of tracks from only latin american producers, this compilation includes works from 2017 to 2020 full of feelings and experiences about the daily battles in the world we live today from different regions and countries all over the continent.
Inside this 23-track narrative, you will find deep emotions and reactions reflected in soulful textures and sounds.
a story focused on an unconventional and more introspective club, expresses a clear discontent, disappointment and impotence, on the other hand, and consequently, expresses anger, empowerment and freedom.

This releases main focus is to raise funds to be donated to the Mapuche community in chile.
All the profits will be delivered to this organization that has carried out a fundamental work during the last months with the Mapuche communities.

[VM012] VARIOS ARTISTAS 2020 (Snippets) Support Compilation

NV REC is a new project designed to help shape a new young community of artists, musicians and events in Sochi/Moscow. It is being championed and pioneered by OL who himself has released a collective array of music on the likes of FIT Sound, Muscut, Meda Fury and Motion Ward. 

The goal is to provide education, access and outlets to up and coming musicians and producers offering them the chance to showcase their music both locally and more widely. 

The latest release on the label comes from 4-й энергоблок - a duo made up of Sil and Luge. The label describes their music and background as follows:

"Both are Deficit Moscow employees and residents. Sil has been interacting with Nvrec crew for a long time as a dj and Luge is known as a participant in the Bolshevo jazz-trio. Combining forces in their debut album «Привыкай к земле» Sil and Luge are moving away from the casual framework creating warm-hearted musical landscapes filled with jazz harmonies framed by a light touch of cosmic atmosphere. Recorded during 4 months as a result of home studio jam sessions."

Automatic Tasty departs slightly from his pastoral acid sound and picks up the microphone for a collection of melancholic pop songs entitled 'A Farewell To Reason' on Wrong Island Communications.

From the side-eyed sarcasm of 'A Happy Town' to the reflective urgency of 'Wake Up Dead', the album traverses landscapes of sorrow and good humour - representing a stoic acceptance of the problems of modern life and a yearning for something different. 'Something special happened with these songs - I've never had a desire to sing or anything, but the words and melodies all kind of fell out of the cosmos fully formed'. While some pieces such as 'Ballad For A Modern Man' convey a certain urban sense of loneliness and isolation, others like 'Onward Forward' are more optimistic. 'These songs are my own attempt at navigating a certain melancholy which was hanging around me at the time I think. They're very dear to me'.

Headcast 25 sees the light and comes from @malte_magnum. The mix, full of breaks and electro jewels, was crafted in the Central German Metropolitan Region, more specifically in Halle - or was it in Leipzig?
We got to know Malte hanging at a lake shore in Lithuania during a little rave camp where we enjoyed having one or another secco. Without fulfilling the diverse high-level agreements we made in Lithuania, we met again at another cosmic gathering in Chemnitz where we renewed our ambition to arrange something for the future. A party exchange on a North-East axis was the plan, but as Covid is still keeping us busy, we are happy about Malte's Headcast delivery.. for now! What's not, can still be or not?
