Hoshina’s previous releases on labels including Volvox’s Jack Dept. have earned his support from a wide range of DJs including Laurel Halo, Lena Willikens, Young Marco and Veronica Vasicka.
Tenjin. Cheeky stabs punctuate a ravey percussion line which carries the track through the finest 7 minutes you are likely to have on a dancefloor. Weird pads sink in and out of tune alongside a drugged out set of synth chords which evoke the second summer of love. Inside this 23-track narrative, you will find deep emotions and reactions reflected in soulful textures and sounds.
a story focused on an unconventional and more introspective club, expresses a clear discontent, disappointment and impotence, on the other hand, and consequently, expresses anger, empowerment and freedom.

This releases main focus is to raise funds to be donated to the Mapuche community in chile.
All the profits will be delivered to this organization that has carried out a fundamental work during the last months with the Mapuche communities.

Automatic Tasty departs slightly from his pastoral acid sound and picks up the microphone for a collection of melancholic pop songs entitled 'A Farewell To Reason' on Wrong Island Communications.

From the side-eyed sarcasm of 'A Happy Town' to the reflective urgency of 'Wake Up Dead', the album traverses landscapes of sorrow and good humour - representing a stoic acceptance of the problems of modern life and a yearning for something different. 'Something special happened with these songs - I've never had a desire to sing or anything, but the words and melodies all kind of fell out of the cosmos fully formed'. While some pieces such as 'Ballad For A Modern Man' convey a certain urban sense of loneliness and isolation, others like 'Onward Forward' are more optimistic. 'These songs are my own attempt at navigating a certain melancholy which was hanging around me at the time I think. They're very dear to me'.
