Crystalizing this ethos into his productions Joe has enjoyed a string of well received releases on a myriad of diverse record labels. It's an intoxicating cocktail that has seen him gig around the world and back again; from smoke filled basements to festival stages and all points between. 

Joe strives to leave no stone unturned in his search for the perfect beat through his Shades Of Sound record label and radio shows.

Buckle up for a playful, mesmerizing, and expertly selected guest mix from Christian S, Cologne-based DJ/producer and longtime member of the Cómeme crew who grew up in Cologne’s raucous early 90s club scene and has enchanted dance floors around the world ever since. Whitney Weiss in the first hour with some recent favorites, including the radio debuts of the next Chinotto Records release.﻿

Christian S is a DJ and part of the Cómeme crew. "S" grew up in Cologne’s infamous early nineties clubs and is still in love with house, techno, disco, and its surroundings past, present, and future.

Production-wise, he has been injecting some intriguing rhythms into the dance world with Cómeme classics like "Jagos," "The Power of Now," his solo EPs "Pitch Rider" and "Six Million Bassdrums Later" and his remixes for Little Dragon, JMII, and Colder. In 2019, he released an EP on the Munich-based label Permanent Vacation that thrills with straightforward yet gentle and mesmerizing club vibes that balance between house and techno.

DJing has taken him to famous venues in Europe such as De School In Amsterdam,
Circoloco/DC10 in Ibiza, Golden Pudel Club in Hamburg, and Panoramabar in Berlin, as well as to cities as far afield as Tromsø, Buenos Aires, Tel Aviv, Tiflis, Moscow, New York, Mexico City, and many more.

It all began with a bag of weed in Monterrey. Thomas Von Party and Daniel Maloso jamming in the studio, emerging with an idea that took the form of a lucid dream that could not only be tamed, but shared. Maloso, the Mexican Bruce Wayne, inspired TVP to reimagine his favourite 60s TV theme song as a punchy Chicago party jam. The demo was later arranged in Montreal by genius UK-pop icon Kane West (of Kero Kero Bonito fame), with the vocals redone by Wolf & Lamb protegé and self-proclaimed sex addict (to be confirmed) Pony. The completed track found its way into the hands of a random few DJs (Chaim and Thomass Jackson, among others) who gave it cult-like status by dropping it in their sets to the frustrated delight of shazam'ers the world over. Three years later, the vibe has matured to a fully ripened state, finally dropping on Easter Fool's Day, 2018.
