Bio (EN): Having discovered nightlife at House events in the late 90s, he decided to cleanly stock his Hip Hop classics to begin his venture into the world of electronic music. Based in London since 2007, he developed an overpowering addiction for potent, floor trembling and sometimes unusual basslines which have strongly influenced his work from then on. His passion is reflected through his unique musical performance each and every time bringing a multitude of styles to express his talent. The experience is epic.

SHARLEENA RAY:
BIO (EN): "Sugar-Coated" Sharleena Ray, a sweet and sexy Girl-About-London-Town vocalist, seized her Classical Music Degree from the renowned Goldsmiths and swiftly diverted her attention to the multitude of musical genres that abide within the earth's realm, soaking up the influences of an extraordinary variety of artists. Having provided backing vocals for and including those of Nigerian Yorubeat, American-Folk, Cuban Hip-Hop and The OneTaste Collective, Sharleena pursued solo song-writing all the while, until a chance encounter with the sound mechanic The Snatcha guided her home towards electronic music production.

ERASER is a new media artist and musician that plays with “unconventional” instruments: electronic toys and musical devices rewired and turned in new sound generators through the art of the circuit bending. He plays only using “circuit bent” toys and musical instruments. His experimental electronic music is a mix of unusual sounds, ambient loops, glitch and distortions.  
In April 2008 he performed at the BENT FESTIVAL 2008, playing in New York and in Minneapolis. It was an important experience, because he knew all the best circuit-benders, having the possibility to work and play with them.

EraSer is the founder of the first italian website enterly dedicated to circuit bending. (www.circuitbend.it)
In April 2009 he is interviewed for the Italian musical broadcaster ALL MUSIC for the show  "Io sono qui" where he talks about the circuit bending and the passion that links him to this creative art, through technical and audio demonstations, a workshop and circuit bent toys.
ACTUALLY EraSer is collaborating with the video-artist and Vj Ape5 to an a/v project called "Future sounds coming from toys of the past", a project of research of the audio-visualization of the sound experimenting the video-artist and vj Ape5 (Emanuele Ponzio): the project goes back and begins with the experimentation of sound through the modification, errors, "bending" of toys, and focuses on their audio-visualization through glitch aesthethics, creating a digital analogical dialogue (dianalog) between video and audio, exactly between "past toys" and "new toys". The audio part of the project avails itself of the art of circuit bending performed by the artist EraSer using toys turned into musical instruments that interact, through micro-controllers and electr-acoustic analysis, with a video-synthesis hardware/software, and self-made controller by Ape5 . The actual project has been (and will be) performed in international festivals focused on avant-garde music, electronic experimentation and improvisation (EXPERIMENTA 2009-Alberobello/Italy , ROBOT FESTIVAL-Bologna/Italy, TWEAK FESTIVAL 2009-Limerick/Ireland, SIGNAL FESTIVAL Cagliari/Italy).


   Shamus has been playing one thing or another in one band or another since 1999, at the age of 15.  Joining South Florida experimental surf outfit The Necrophiles at age 17, Shamus remained as their keyboardist and organist until April 2011. 
  Over the years he was in THE NECROPHILES, Shamus was also featured in many other Florida bands...  Most notably, DEATHDIGSDISCO, a highly experimental electronic project drawing on elements of punk, hardcore, 8bit music, and performance art.  Other projects have included Playing guitars, keyboards, and turntables for local experimental wunderkind J U N Q U E...  Playing keyboards, vocal accents, and turntables in well respected instrumental post-rock outfit THE MARAUDERS... Singing and playing guitar on street corners in the avant-garde urban folk project THE DIE ON YOUR DOORSTEP DANCING BAND and in Fort Lauderdale local deathrock band THE LONG KNIVES.... Recording and performing in the role of and under the name of Skillet, a southern mustachioed scumbag vocalist, polyester clad, drawing on heavy Elvis and Jimi Hendrix vocal stylings, singing mostly about adult theaters and stealing vintage clothing, in the moog synthesiser infused, vintage electronics based southern rock band CORNBREAD AND SKILLET... At one point even recording an two albums of ambient music, using mostly guitars, vocals and a heavy influence of hungarian and eastern european folk music, resulting in a strange form of hybrid mope rock under the name TRANNYKNIFEFIGHT.  
   In 2009 Shamus teamed up with local Fort Lauderdale guitar prodigy Winston III, and together the group recorded a very menacing album combining elements of Thrash and Hardcore with Electronic percussion and rampant experimentation as DEATHDIGSDISCO.  
    Shamus is currently in the process of releasing his first solo record, the "Dumpster Glam" opus "Shit Nobody Cares About Volume 1." Maybe.  Or he may just say fuck that record and do some other shit.  He's done it before.  Just saying..... Stay tuned.

About Systems Theory: a long-distance internet music project formed through the usenet rec.music.progressive newsgroup in 1999 by ex-pat Brit in California Steven Davies-Morris, his long-time American friend Greg Amov and Scotsman Mike Dickson.

Some influences: Can, Eno, Eric Satie, Gong, Hawkwind, Jade Warrior, King Crimson, Kraftwerk, Mike Oldfield, Philip Glass, Tangerine Dream, musique concrète, 20th Century atonal classical music and sampling (not necessarily in that order).

We might remind you of (tongue in cheek): Can meets Jade Warrior and Tangerine Dream in a bar for a few beers while listening to Harold Budd, Ozric Tentacles and William Orbit. Then they head off to an after-hours club to drink single malt whisky while Steve Tibbetts and Steve Roach fire-up odd percussion and old-school electronics for a jam with Hawkwind and King Crimson refugees.

None of the tunes on the first demos set have appeared anywhere else. Four of the six tunes on the second set have been reworked and appeared elsewhere.

At some point after the release of "overfulnoisecascade" the original demos, alternate versions of released tunes, and previously unreleased compositions will be revisited.  They will be assembled into two CDs that represent where Systems Theory came from, while filling in the gaps for the listener who has to have everything the band recorded that wasn't so awful it was executed or locked up in a dungeon.

Michael Futreal is part of The Offramps with his brother Andy and the trio Twang Darkly. The make modern electrified and traditional Americana with a strong Appalachian feel. Michael contributed the dulcimer that sounds like balalaika on "Last Letters From Stalingrad", the closing number on "Soundtracks For Imaginary Movies".

Diane Amov contributed wood flute samples programmed by Steven Davies-Morris on "The Cool Vibe Of Asia C.", the 2nd tune on "Soundtracks For Imaginary Movies".  She also contributed flute samples used in some of the early Systems Theory demos.

In the progressive rock world, I worked under the names Sir Millard Mulch and Dr. Zoltan. I’ve made music with Dweezil Zappa, Virgil Donati, Mike Keneally, Marco Minnemann, Travis Orbin, Thomas Lang, and Morgan Agren. My 2005 album, “How To Sell The Whole F#@!ing Universe To Everybody, Once And For All!” was co-released on Mimicry Records owned by Trey Spruance of Mr. Bungle. 

I now focus on scoring orchestral music for TV and film. I studied composition at State College of Florida and I have a Master Certificate in Composition and Orchestration for Film & TV from Berklee Online. 

In the filmmaking world, I’ve worked on several documentaries (Jon Schnepp’s The Death Of Superman Lives: What Happened starring Tim Burton and Kevin Smith, Apocalypse Later: Harold Camping Vs The End of the World, and Morgan Agren’s Conundrum featuring Devin Townsend and Brendon Small). 

Lately, I create my own animated shows, which I also write, direct, and score.

Von Sleight formed in June 2005 in an attempt to merge analog synthesizers, homemade instruments, electrified
household objects, and other strange percussive devices. We are influenced by many types of music including
krautrock (Neu!, Can, Faust, Cluster, early Kraftwerk), space rock (Heldon, Hawkwind), Finnish avant-garde and
krautrock (Keuhkot, Circle, Cleaning Women), early industrial (Einsturzende Neubauten, Coil), and San Francisco
Bay Area avant weirdness (The Residents, Sleepytime Gorilla Museum, Idiot Flesh, Secret
Chiefs 3, Moe!kestra).

The first album, Fringe Biology, is mostly a one-take experimental space rock session cut into multiple tracks and
was completed in 2005. The second album, Signs of Life, was completed in 2006 and is a more structured and
eclectic mix of styles than the first, varying from ambient krautrock to Joy Division meets Tiki exotica to early
industrial with tinges of jazz. Scandinavia Darkly, the third full-length release from 2007, was inspired by adventures
in Scandinavia and mixes MIDI instruments with homemade instruments/objects/devices and analog synthesizers. 
Styles include the Residents meet Kraftwerk "Radiation in the Eyeball", Finnish painter/graphic artist Hugo Simberg 
inspired "Symphony For Simberg", and Charles Mingus / African Head Charge hybrid "Sibelius and Salmiakki". 
The fourth album, Sieves & Cyphers, was completed in 2008 and will be released with a companion EP. Both of 
these releases emphasize the use of the Kaoss Pad, mixed with rhythmic freakouts, jazz, and Der Plan-like percussion.

New Kraut, the fifth album, will be release on Fringe Biology Recordings on 10/10/10 for their 10th release. 
This album takes the avant-electronic, jazz, space rock, and warped pop styles from previous albums and infuses these 
sounds with Krautrock and dub. The result is something like the analog tape recordings of Neu! being accidentally spliced 
together with Hawkwind, Cluster, Lee "Scratch" Perry, Miles Davis, and The Residents. The instruments used on this album 
include the Korg MS-20 analog synthesizer, fretless bass, Electribe, trumpet, electronic and analog drums, Kaossilator, and 
MIDI instruments. The video for the title track follows a UFO that delivers New Kraut to the good people of earth. Like a virus 
from outer space, the New Kraut is discovered and gets propagated into supermarkets for mass commercialization. New Kraut 
is not a sandwich, it's a casserole.
