My 30-ish minute offering for Vocalo's Friday Night DJ Series that aired on 91.1 FM Chicago on 4/7/23. I've done a number of mixes for Vocalo over the years and this one really captures my lived experience as a DJ the best. While it features current music, the sounds span back to my early years as a DJ playing house music to now more global offerings and the sounds that are heavily influenced by house music. I had a lot of fun putting this one together.

A really fun World Over party in Chicago with DJ NewLife featuring guests 1981Tokyo and RTST. We each did two 50 minute sets. Unfortunately, the only recording I have for the night is my opening set - I think it came out fire. Let me know what you think. 24/25 WINTER PT.1

This one moves through the decades without getting too deep or too obvious - with a bit of satire woven in, playing with the over the top emotions and dramatic storytelling that make love songs so iconic. At the end, I had fun letting the eras speak to each other in a way that felt right. Also, this was my first mix on the CDJ 3000s, and I had hella fun putting it together. The transitions, the layering, the way the energy shifts - all of it felt like a new way to stretch and explore sound.

Lover's Rock & Blues

I've always loved Sade's music and have created a few edits and remixes throughout the years but more recently played the 'Sade Night' party in LA, hosted by Vacations and in prepping really went into a deeper dive. I created about 15 remixes, edits and a couple of original tracks - some of which I played the night of the party. Sadly, I wasn't able to record the live set but here I have some of the songs I played for the opening set.
