Every Always. This body’s title track thus signals the start of Finalversion3’s journey, a dive into an inner world plagued with themes of family, spirituality, and hope. With all the originals finished a week before the birth of the artist’s son, every title unveils a portion of a journey of struggle, overcoming fears, and a strong sense of interdependence.

“Todos Los Siempres”, stemming from this long standing family ethos, is an emphatic tour de force, punk from the bone, an exploration of the hardcore-continuum in the flesh, and an exo-skeleton of battering snares melding the artists influences into a defining opener.

“De tu costado” and “Vulnerables” continue by building the myth of this release, swathes of metallic textures, constantly decaying dancefloor constructions with an uncanny sense of bitter-sweet around the topics of birth, vulnerability, and growth.

“Incompatible con la vida” narrates overcoming anxieties, delivering a deeply cathartic explosion of thundering club sonics.

The final original track, “Nacida en Jueves Santo” is an infinite tug of war between hyperspeeds and a smoldering dembow pulse, with the embers of both compacted together until forming a rough diamond. In Spanish folklore, a person born on Holy Thursday is capable of lifting curses from others, and as such, capable of keeping one’s family in good health.

Peder Mannerfelt sets off with the first of our remixes, club heart attack through and through, fear is imminent, and a robotic PSA reminds us of it constantly.

Stalwart Oscar Mulero reimagines our title track in explosive fashion, delivering classic D’n’B permeations into a carefully weaved fabric, broken Reese basses and infinite Amen recombinations ensuring nosebleed.

Answer Code Request’s dubby breakbeat take on the opener is perhaps, able to highlight a sense of euphoria that is more underplayed throughout the release.

Iceworld - Interferences (VORTX015)

This EP is the product of my recent trip to New York City, inspired by the raw energy and relentless pace of its iconic terminal bus station. Port Authority captures the spirit of movement, connection, and the chaos that makes New York a place like no other. 

Opening the release is "Cold Aspirin," a soft, minimal, atmospheric 4x4 techno groove. Cheeky yet refined, it holds a sense of fullness through its rawness and distortion, while delicate hats and playful bleeps add a touch of charm. Perfect for setting the tone at the start of a set or calming the energy while keeping the movement alive. 

As second we have What Does the Clock Say?, a breakbeat techno track that combines an aggressive and experimental approach with a refined sense of depth. Field recordings from the city’s streets create an organic atmosphere, layered with a deep, driving bassline that anchors the track’s energy. Super-fast rolling hats inject a distinct sense of urgency, while 909 elements bring a classic, timeless feel to the composition. Repetitive bleeps add a hypnotic element, tying everything together into a dynamic and evolving piece. 

The EP continues with WTY’s interpretation of What Does the Clock Say?, which brings a fresh and authentic perspective to the track. Characteristic of his raw, rude sound, WTY’s version stays true to the original vision while adding his own unique energy and depth. WTY is an artist and friend that, since day one, I have always admired and felt connected to. His sound has already found a home on my label, Técnica, and having him contribute to this EP feels like a natural extension of our shared vision. 

following we have Old Night, Good Night, a 4x4 techno pressure work deeply inspired by the atmosphere of Berghain—my favourite club. This piece embodies my wish to return home to Berlin, and experience the sound system, the hedonism and debauchery again. 

Next up is Port Authority, a proper driving techno piece. Loopy yet constantly evolving, it builds through its cinematic feeling, with immersive FX adding depth and intrigue to the sound. A fat, low rumble underscores the track, grounding it with a visceral, dark energy. Perfect for moments of peak tension and blending seamlessly into the energy of a set. 

Rounding out the EP is a remix of Port Authority by Endrew, an artist whose work I’ve admired since our first chance meeting. Although we haven’t known each other for very long, it was an instant click when we met, and our connection felt natural from the start. His version of the track brings a more swingy feeling, adding a groove that contrasts yet complements the original’s energy, while still maintaining a prevailing sense of obscurity. Collaborating with Endrew felt like a natural evolution, and I’m proud to have his touch on this release. 

This release is the result of countless hours of dedication, creativity, and an uncompromising vision for electronic music. Each track reflects not just a piece of my journey but also my deep respect for the timeless essence of techno. 

While this EP isn’t meant to define or categorize my sound—I see myself as constantly evolving—techno has given me so much in life, and it will always hold a deep place in my heart. 
I’d also like to mention Santiago, Csilla, Shak, Vlad, Æon and Alex for making this trip such a memorable experience. It’s great to know I have good friends in the Big City who are doing cool stuff with good values.
