Lusty Lies
and slender thighs,

Lost in a thicket,
eaten by slathering beasts...

A matter of discourse:
"Who killed the horse"?
We're civil monsters in streets

Meth and Jesus
is all that pleases
in this our American Dream

If little pink houses
are all that arouses
We're playing on the wrong fucking team

Everywhere I look 
People Are Sleeping
Dreaming that American Dream
That Hides Behind Closed Doors
So Many Suburban 
Monstrosities

But When We Grow Older 
We Can't Put Away Those Childish Things
Because the Monsters Grow With Us
And the Monsters Grow IN Us

There's a World Beneath 
American Prime Time Reality
Those Sugar Coated Suburbs
Of Little Pink Houses
Where We Turn Up the Volume 
To Turn Down Our Minds

Where Children Make Monsters to Play With
Cause they're Safer Than the Ones they Live With 

Golems of Glass
Ice in their Bones
Holes For Souls 
And Empty Eyes of Black 

This is my American Nightmare
