Vienna-born, Berlin-based artist DLV, known for tracks like "Rave Instructor" and "Der Teufel'', brings his uncompromising and invigorating sound to Voxnox. For the 47th edition of Berlin's infamous Hard Techno outlet, he presents his selection of pure dancefloor-oriented weapons. A record that reflects his musical journey of the last few years - no frills, no B-sides, no compromises.

Percussive and driving, creating a mood that makes you think of a marching legion on its way to the gates of hell. A track made for moving crowds in search of excitement and a hard-hitting peak time belter. Perfect for getting the crowd going, regardless of what time it might be.

Voxnox is celebrating its 48th installment at the beginning of the spring season and the numerous raves or open-air in preparation. "We Trip and Roll" Remix EP comes at the right time for those who are ready to dance until dusk. Bewitching, catchy, and unmissable, the four reinterpretations of Lucinee's infamous heaters "Bang Juice" and "We Trip And Roll" are made to drive you insane once again. With a punk touch of Brutalismus 3000 and the electrifying reinterpretations of New Frames, JKS and Blame the Mono this selection will surely blow you away.

As opening track of the release, New Frames' version of "We Trip And Roll" lets us dive directly into their sophistically crafted journey spiked with frenetic grooves and rhythms. Heavy kicks keep up energy, pace and the dramatic sound design feels the night is far from being over. The lyrics "it's time to rage" have never made more sense.

From the very beginning of the track, Blame The Mono once again proves their talent by letting Lucinee's "Bang Juice" appear in a completely new light. With their known signature sound and a set of fervidly designed textures leading their remix all the way through, it catches with its heavy bassline, driving complex drum rhythms and its dark captivating that makes us crave to dance. A true essential for all enthusiasts during this season and far beyond.

For the third addition to this EP, French powerhouse JKS delivers a pounding but funky peak time excursion filled with breaks and surprising twists. Mixed with a melodious beat that does not leave us any respite, as well as incessant percussions keeping up the high energy, this weapon is dedicated to move masses all over - original, groovy and effective from end to end.

For this last remix, Brutalismus 3000 delivers a kicking interpretation of the essential track Bang Juice. The characteristic energetic beat is punctuated by alarming vocals encouraging strong movement on every dance floor. The propelling bass together with the known robotic vocal of "Bang Juice" perfectly carries the vibe while building even more tension over time. The voice urging not to fit into categories perfectly rounds up the mood of the EP in typical Brutalismus 3000 manner.

We celebrate our resident devil on this 45th edition for the Voxnox Fam: Lucinee’s „We Trip And Roll“ proves from the very first kick - the future is techno. Siren pads pair up with smart vocal lines on the so titled A-side, eventually switching back and forth from heavy hi-hat thunder and pulsing energy to more complexity for a never-ending flow.

The attached remix by Wallis takes the original vibe even further by kicking in with its synthesizer, building heavy drumming on top to keep you escalated, especially when the chord progressions switch the mood just to kick in for the drop again.
„Bang Juice“ keeps the vibe rolling when tiny vocal points meet drum effects, ending up in clever arp progressions and a rhythmically conscious arrangement, ready to squeeze some serious juice out of the subwoofers.

Oslo-based MRD takes over the remix for „Bang Juice“, delivering deep pulsing atmospheres hitting the right knobs on this one with dedicated drum programming evolving into 90s pads, making you feel like the party ain’t over till the bass is gone. And that’s actually true.

Vienna-born, Berlin-based artist DLV, known for tracks like "Rave Instructor" and "Der Teufel'', brings his uncompromising and invigorating sound to Voxnox. For the 47th edition of Berlin's infamous Hard Techno outlet, he presents his selection of pure dancefloor-oriented weapons. A record that reflects his musical journey of the last few years - no frills, no B-sides, no compromises.

1) Rufmord

LUAP and IGLO teaming up for their first collaboration coming in a 7-tracker-EP ‚Blurred Fusion‘ with 3 remixes by Alarico, TWR72 and Rove Ranger. Berlin based Alignment returns to Voxnox for what Italians are best known for: straight and forward-thinking Techno music. Floor orientation with heavy basslines, marching drums and an ever modulating Plug is therefore guaranteed on opening title „Infinity“.

Second in order is „Distorted Signal“, which specialises on a modulated rhythm with a plenty of soundscapes, best up severed for a sweaty Saturday night on a solid sound system, highlighting the many layers and styles on this production work. 

The bigger, the better. „Alienist“ reminds and also focusses on the classic rave attitudes from the late 90s, with energising synths and an 808-inspired clap programming, ready to heat up the night no matter when and regardless where. 

Closing this release is the fourth title „Distance“, showing another high-energy production building up epic acid-vibes with various atmospheres just to finally drop them several times par excellence.

We know it. You know it. Alignment is here to stay. Delivering the next round of high quality tracks on vinyl for VN043, his „Orderly Chaos“ EP mirrors our suspicious times like nothing else but techno can. 

With its main title „Orderly Chaos“ consisting of well balanced leads chasing a never ending drum programming, the consistent kick drum does what its used to do: thumping your already vibrating stomach. An early classic already, with a reasoned arrangement attached. 

We’re about to enter quicker territories on A2 by the name of „Future Dancefloor“. Clearly focussed on satisfying the biggest sound systems around, once possible again. For the time being, a forward moving rhythm infiltrates small vocal hits on this one, piercing the perfect state of rave. 

„Into The Unknown“ follows this mantra perfectly. Detailed synth placements evolve a steadily riding hi-hat shuffle, incorporating the flowing drumming which comes with it. On top of it, energising pad lines do their thing in catching us during a perfect breakdown. 

Second b-side flip is „Dark Space“, with the name saying it all. A distinctively darker sound atmosphere is paired with modulated patterns, systematically pushing the groove underneath. It’s a next stage of production class, with harmonic elements driving one’s imagination further. A perfect closing for your next, physical music purchase.
