Berlin based Alignment returns to Voxnox for what Italians are best known for: straight and forward-thinking Techno music. Floor orientation with heavy basslines, marching drums and an ever modulating Plug is therefore guaranteed on opening title „Infinity“.

Second in order is „Distorted Signal“, which specialises on a modulated rhythm with a plenty of soundscapes, best up severed for a sweaty Saturday night on a solid sound system, highlighting the many layers and styles on this production work. 

The bigger, the better. „Alienist“ reminds and also focusses on the classic rave attitudes from the late 90s, with energising synths and an 808-inspired clap programming, ready to heat up the night no matter when and regardless where. 

Closing this release is the fourth title „Distance“, showing another high-energy production building up epic acid-vibes with various atmospheres just to finally drop them several times par excellence.

Andrew Bowen & Dimitri Poumplidis, better known to the public as AnD, had accompanied REPITCH Recordings through its early stages of existence. Their two previous offerings for the Berlin-based label came respectively in 2012 and 2014, acting as cornerstones for Repitch, marking crucial points in the evolution and definition of its sound. It is only now, after a 6-year absence from the RR catalog, that the duo makes its return with ‘Beast Mode’, a five-tracker that shows no sign of giving way to softer or less energetic sounds. These are bangers: nothing more and nothing less than rave-ready, hard-thumping, bass-blasting club stompers. Ever championing of the hardest side of techno, AnD have prepared a pack of non-compromising menaces to quiet, capable of making the floor quake by means of pure, unadulterated four-to-the-floor thickness and synthetic stabbing power. This kind of attitude led them to form many kinships with similarly minded DJs and producers, the latest of which is hardcore maestro Alberto Guerrini AKA Gabber Eleganza, who turned ‘Emergency Procedures’ into an even harder affair, driving the mix into the red and turning the beat into a freakishly crippled juggernaut.

the refusal to accept or comply with something is a mindset that is often sorely lacking in the 21st century. look at any form of art or expression and you will mostly see people trying to comply with what’s hot at the minute.

and then, on the other hand, there are people like rezystor, who has consciously always taken the road less travelled. be it because of his musical beginnings, which were spent in the middle of heavy metal- moshpits, or because of a constant sense that there are too many passing fads in the scene he now calls his home. no entrance into a music genre is easy, especially when one is committed to just doing what they want to do, but the cologne native has managed to carve a name for himself out of steel, with a unique brand of no- nonsense, bottom-heavy, thick, rolling techno.

DLV is the driving force behind Acid Techno Techno Club and now self-releases three of his powerful dance floor weapons.  

Acid Techno Techno Club is an organization run by DLV that meets to discuss, show, and promote acid techno in a local community setting and it has given the Austrian artist and party promoter a cult following both locally and internationally. 

His hard hitting, no frills and direct sound is pure fire on the dance floor and can be heard on his remixes for KAS:ST and Hadone, in addition to his pounding sets at his parties. 

'Rave instructor' has lasers fired out of a gun shooting across a flat footed kick drum that prowls you forwards. Vocal stabs add fuel to the fire and eventually a frazzled synth breaks free to get hands in the air. 
The excellent ‘Space Machine' is another futurist techno banger, with twisted acid lines weaving in and out of the hammering drums while bright synth patterns light up the skies. 

Last but not least, 'Transmission' brings darker energies with its stomping kicks, industrial textures and old school breakbeat flourishes all making for a hugely physical and immediate impact.
