ASW Premiere: Loend - Feel Free [CREP018]

Mood Supplier is the new hardgroove techno sibling to Rudosa’s harder label, Moments in Time. With a busy release schedule planned for 2024, Mood Supplier kicks off with its first release from the label boss, Rudosa, and two hot remixes from none other than Obscure Shape.

The first track on the release is ‘The Procession’, it is a hypnotic record with a heavily grooved bassline, dissonance chord stabs and military-sounding marching drums. Coupled with its catchy vocal, this is bound to get you in the mood! An artist who needs no introduction, Obscure Shape, delivers not one, but two high energy remixes of the lead track.

‘Bag Snatcher’ touches on a more melodic hard groove. Rudosa experiments with playful melodies, all brought together by a rolling low end and hypnotic drum patterns. Last but not least ‘Don't Hold Back’ will keep the dancefloor going with its chugging bass and hypnotic modulated vocal.

For our second release of the year, we're heading to the Netherlands. Nassau, 1/5 of the Dutch collective Undivulged (alongside Beau Didier, Isaiah, Flits, and Lasse), has crafted a stripped-back and raw 4-track EP filled equally with both grit and groove.

His productions draw heavy inspiration from rolling minimal and old-school techno, which is evident throughout the entire EP. After listening to his self-released EP "Mute" last year, we knew we had to get him on the label for this excellent release, which additionally will be accompanied by remixes from four next-level producers who are currently heating up the scene.

Fast rising techno star, ANNĒ, returns to Soma with another astounding release - the Moon Lander EP. Marking her 3rd full release with the label, ANNĒ once again delves into deep,
grooving techno with her now signature sound design. Title track Moon Lander opens with a serious intent. Playful stabs glides across carefully constructed percussive elements that keep the pace fast and sharp. Fieldstone hits with a more hypnotic, space like vibe but still retains ANNĒ’s unique drive. More clinical sound design is at the forefront of St. Strings with expertly controlled drums driving the rhythm as slowly evolving atmospheres and stabs deliver the attitude. The more jacking Rootstock is up next, pushing hard on the 909 workouts against dubbed out synths and trippy, intense synths elements. *bandcamp exclusive Magnets closes out the release with a more dirty, and abrasive sound.
