This episode of Global Vibe Radio features techno DJ and producer Dustin Zahn, one of Midwest's most respected and liked artists... and that's saying a lot given the great company he is in. 

Originally from the United States but now based in Berlin, Zahn delivers a euphoric and hypnotic hour of dark and mystical elements. 

The story behind Dustin Zahn is not a particularly unique or exciting one. There are no breakthrough moments or mentors who have taken him under their wing. But since 1998, his work has put his career on a slow and steady ascent. Along the way, Dustin has gained over 10 years of experience and unrivaled musical diversity as both a producer and a performer. This alone has earned him respect among techno and house legends, purists, and contemporary DJs. 

He now performs regularly around the world at some of the most reputable clubs and festivals along with some dodgy, sleazy warehouses and beach parties in-between. His DJ sets are much like his releases. “I like it dark enough for the boys, but groovy enough for the girls.” With a preference for marathon sets and his laid-back approach to life and music, he seamlessly traverses through various genres which creates a unique, hypnotic vibe that isn’t found among most DJs. As a producer, his releases on labels such as Drumcode, Rekids, and CLR have brought him international success. 

While Dustin’s original productions are something of the rare and special sort, it’s his remixes that have helped catapult him into the collections of DJs everywhere. As a remixer, he has done work for the likes of Adam Beyer, Chris Liebing, Green Velvet, Dubfire, Nic Fanciluli, Mark Broom, Joel Mull, and many other high profile acts. Despite his busy release schedule, he still finds time to own and operate Enemy Records. Founded in 2004, Enemy focuses on the same late-night hypnotic techno that you’ll often find in his DJ sets.

Born in the late '98 in Fondi, middle Italy, Rebecca Delle Piane has always dedicated most of her time to her passion for music. Marsch

Marsch is a French DJ & producer based in Berlin. She was already an audiophile from her early childhood and through her teenage years, spending a significant amount of time listening to and discovering new music. When moving to the UK for her undergraduate studies, she discovered electronic music through the British signature sounds, mainly garage and 2-step. Marsch’s musical journey took a decisive turn towards techno when she moved to Berlin 3 years later, shaping her tastes and nurturing her aspirations to produce her own music. Fast forward 7 years into her sound explorations, Marsch's artistic identity has crystallised into a fusion of melody, energy, and texture. Her sound intertwines minimalistic elements, pulsating rhythms, ethereal voices, and futuristic synths. Marsch aims to unveil a sonic tapestry to transport listeners on a journey towards self-exploration and emotive resonance.

TECH CLUBBERS PODCAST W/ NOT OPERATED

Since 2007, Berlin-based artist Not Operated ( formerly Erta Ale, aka DJ Fresh ) has been a prolific force in the techno scene. He has released a wide range of music under various aliases on his own labels, Solenoid Records and S-Limited, as well as on respected labels like Twirl, Exploited, The Hindie Corporation ( Bogotá ) and Bullfinch, among others.
He has brought his sound to renowned venues such as About Blank, OXI, and Renate in Berlin; AND Club and Modular in South Africa; Radion and Church in Amsterdam; Micro in Sofia to name just a few. He has also appeared frequently on influential radio platforms including HÖR Radio, Red Light Radio ( Amsterdam ) and Rinse FM.
With his "Not Operated" project, he emphasises DAWless live techno performances, relying on an "everything from scratch" philosophy. This approach drives the raw energy and spontaneity that define his exhilarating live shows, where unpredictability and adrenaline take center stage.
