Moved by a Passion for Electronic Music sparked by her experiences in the dance scene of her late teenage years, TIKOA begins her artistic journey as a DJ in her early twenties.
After a short initiation of playing digital Music, she soon discovered the art of mixing vinyl to be her most true form of expression.
Since then, she has been expanding her record collection and developing her sound: Unrestricted by expectations and preconceptions of genres, her research of sound is focused around peculiar elements and distinct grooves, proudly giving space to anything which conveys an unconventional feeling.

A smooth, well-crafted hour of techno from none other than long-time legend Answer Code Request. Known for his innovative approach, characterised by a fusion of pad-driven harmonies, intricate breaks and an industrial tone. Born in the East German town of Fürstenwalde, his musical roots were planted deep during a transformative period marked by the fall of the Berlin Wall when he was just 9 years old. Growing up alongside Marcel Dettmann and Marcel Fengler, he explored Berlin's dynamic post-reunification club scene and began mixing vinyls from Hardwax and Delirium which contributed to the development of his signature sound, a blend of jungle, drum 'n' bass, Detroit, IDM and UK bass.

As a resident at Tresor and label owner at Unrush, she continues to leave her unmistakable mark as an artist. As a DJ she is chameleon, carefully stitching together immaculate and immersive sounds that will quickly turn any discerning dance floor into a sweaty rave. Lush ambient sets create a balance within Mareena's musical sphere, and one can immediately sense that she feels at home no matter the setting.  However, her career encompasses much more than just DJing. Voxnox Podcast 214 - AgainstMe [Recorded at Acceleration Series @ RSO]

Sam Coates took to techno like a diligent pupil, falling in love with the genre through labels like CLR in the late '00s. It didn't take long for the student to surpass his proverbial teachers. Almost immediately, the Manchester native was putting out pitch-perfect, functional techno records with everything intricately balanced. The requisite move to Berlin only sealed his fate as a future techno luminary, and by now, based in Kyiv, he's one of techno's most reliable, yet exciting, workhorses. Setaoc Mass records (and those on his label, SK_eleven) are minimalist but colossal, deceptively simple but not easy to pull off. 

We've praised him in these pages for his "sense of economy—how to get the hardest impact out of just a few elements," and that's the idea behind his RA Podcast as well. Put together from records old and new, and intricately layered, Coates's mix is like a time-travelling wormhole connecting disparate eras from techno, and highlighting the genre's most timeless attributes: mechanistic rhythms, careful pacing, rudimentary melodies made out of the strangest sounds and, of course, the power of the bass drop. It's hard to imagine anything that sounds more capital-T techno than this mix, which is a high compliment. It's easy to hear why his records and DJ sets are only more in demand from techno heads across the geographical and generational spectrum.

Reka Zalan is a Berlin-based Techno DJ and promoter, co-hosting the ://elements series at ://about blank, where she’s resident and part of the booking team. 

Her activities in the local music and club culture scene also include working at Hard Wax, one of Berlin's essential record store addresses. 

Reka's sound is a palpable blend of cosmic and driving Techno, combining deep, gloomy vibes and trippy elements as well as percussion-heavy, groovy and tooly facets. Besides her passion for Techno realms, she loves various forms of (UK) Bass music, Electro (Wave) or experimental beatless soundscapes. 

She also plays under the moniker No Life Signal, a B2B duo with ://elements colleague and DJ fellow THNTS. Since early 2023 now, she's been a member of the local residents team of well-known Berlin Tresor club. 

Furthermore she's part of the Coppi collective, a project space with weekly community-based studio sessions in an off-location between Friedrichshain and Lichtenberg.

From his early releases on the legendary german imprint raster-noton, to his more recent output aimed at the club, Kangding Ray managed to trace a singular trajectory, navigating the unexplored territories between experimental and dance music.
Through his consistency as live performer and DJ, and with a number of critically acclaimed releases under his belt, Kangding Ray showed his ability to keep a genuine artistic approach, while slowly crafting an unique universe, equally focused on emotional response and visceral impact. 
Kangding Ray’s music tests boundaries, evolving constantly in its exploration of texture and rhythms, while talking equally to the body and the mind. From his past as architect, Kangding Ray kept a multidisciplinary approach to art, applying his craft in diverse artistic fields  such as visual arts, film scores, audiovisual installations and dance performances.
