As an experienced DJ and producer hailing from the french rave & techno scenes. Umwelt is a truly rare underground artist and an important and prolific electronic producers.

His productions play the card of a specific and dystopian electro-techno sound. He always delivers a fierce, dark and cinematographic music at the crossroads between the classics and an assumed modernity. His last techno album released on Dax J's label Monnon Black "Dead Eyes Society" (2022) is the perfect illustration of his huge ability of bringing people all together in different moods.

On his own labels Rave Or Die and New Flesh Records, he has released music by 999999999 ,Ancient Methods, I Hate Model, Jacidorex, Nite Fleit, Oscar Mulero, Sunil Sharpe , Stranger ,Terence Fixmer, The Exaltics... Umwelt is also very solicited for his remixes for artists from different horizon, like, The Hacker, Marc Acardipane, Mercury 200, Salome, Tensal...

During the last years Umwelt has also travelled the world, resident curator at Le Sucre he has also played in a lot of major clubs and festivals like Tresor, Berghain, RSO, Bassiani, Khidi, Kalt, Rex, Fabric, Fold, Nitsa, Razzmatazz, Lanna, Industrial Copera, Unter (ny), Closer (ua), Nuits Sonores, Ombra, Dekmantel, Drift, Positive Education, Astropolis, Dour... to name a few.

On live sets or on Dj sets, Umwelt is always focused on catching the audience on the dancefloor in an epic raving atmosphere !

Desde No Portions vol. 2, el nuevo V/A del label escoces Idlestates, adelantamos en premiere desde Colombia al productor Crimental, que demuestra el efervescente momento que esta viviendo su pais con este estilo de musica, donde lineas de bajo freneticas se combinan con desesperadas voces de hospicio generando un clima de opresion muy acorde a los tiempos que vivimos y desde su titulo ya propone opciones a tener en cuenta.
Una perfecta muestra de la propuesta que nos acerca la gente de Idlestates, que con este segundo lanzamiento y sumado a su excelente serie de podcasts, se consolida como uno de los labels mas interesantes de este ultimo tiempo.

From Idlestates new v/a No Portions vol. 2 , we premiere from Colombia, the producer Crimental, who demonstrates the efervescing moment  in his country for this type of music, where frantic basslines are combined with desperate asylum vocals generating an opressive climate so appropiate for the times we are living, and from it's title it bring options to be considered.
A perfect sample of Idlestates' proposal, who with this second release and added to their excellent podcast series is consolidating as one of the most interesting labels in these times.

Columbian artist 'Crimental' joins Idlestates for their VA Sequel 'No Portions Vol 2'.  The 14-track cassette takes us on a journey as it pieces together unearthly EBM with harsher post-punk elements. Crimental unleashes unearthly dystopian electronics in his track 'Burning Patrol'
