With a warm welcome, and a swift return we have the multi-talented Teddy Bryant in the house. Showcasing and highlighting his sophomore album…’Dinner For Two’ — Aswad and Teddy get into deep discussion about how the album came to fruition: the influences, collaborations and worldwide reception. An album which tells a ‘romantic adventure’. They also discuss the process and emotions of closely being nominated for R&B album of the year via the Grammys and reflect on what it truly means to be an independent artist in these challenging modern times.

With the recent passing of K-Maxx (Ken Hopkins), I wanted to pay homage to one of the most influential/talented artist in the Modern Funk scene. Thoughts and prayers to his Family, friends and his Sweater Funk crew.

Voyage Funktastique is a radio show, a label, and a monthly night, dedicated to Modern/Boogie Funk. Based out of Montreal, Canada, Walla P & Dr.MaD founded Voyage Funktastique in 2013, and have since then, performed in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, Brussels, and shared the stage with Kaytranada, Pomo, Onra, Peanut Butter Wolf & DâM-FunK. They also performed on Boiler Room, and festivals such as Lost Village, Igloofest, Piknic Electronik, Osheaga, M For Monteal, POP Montreal, and Montreal International Jazz Festival. 

The radio show, hosted by Walla P, airs on the 3rd Sunday of the month 6PM (EDT), and is presented by Prime Source. 

The monthly night is held at Le Belmont ; it is considered as one of the most busiest & best dance floor in the city.
