Well it's Sunday and after a last minute ditch of a track I was working on that was simply just not working. I switched direction and did a follow up track to my earlier track "Mach Hawk" and continued the Street Hawk / Tangerine Dream  influenced theme music.

"In The Midnight Forest" is the sixth solo E.P from UK-based artist China Rose. Featuring two carefully crafted, high-energy tracks, this E.P explores the duality of life as reflected in various human experiences. 

The E.P depicts a journey to the heart of the forest, beginning with the first step taken when the sun is up. The first track, "Forest Whispers," is euphoric and atmospheric, with melodic essences woven between layers of psychedelic textures. Ethereal, almost angelic atmospheres represent sunlight shining through the trees onto the forest floor, evoking a sense of illumination and euphoria – the "nirvana moment" in trance. 

The second track, "Dark Wings," represents the darker side of life, experienced as day turns to night in the forest. Here, creatures of the night and dark fairies come out to play. Spooky melodies glide over organic textures. "Dark Wings" was inspired by the story of Maleficent, an evil enchantress who was once a good fairy before being deceived by her lover, who stole her wings.
