Ku clearly understood Gaster's intentions all along. He was simply biding his time to see how far his creation could go in the name of science, waiting for the moment when the vessel would confront it. To demonstrate the true potential of his creation, he took Gaster's research on the depths and revealed the null soul's ability to consume the entire depth itself. In a final act of defiance, he sacrificed himself to the null soul, relishing his last laugh. 

Now, without its creator, the null soul lost its purpose and direction. It decided it had seen enough of the worst that both the light and dark worlds had to offer, all due to the burden of free will that brought evil into existence. Believing that eliminating free will would improve the world, it resolved to destroy both realms by ending its own life, using its death as a catalyst for countless new creations that would be flawless.

With the support of many allies, along with the pure soul and the radiance crystal, we managed to defeat the god of nothing. After its defeat, the null soul vanished, leaving us uncertain if it was truly gone for good. Perhaps one day it will return and continue the cycle once more.

Once you defeat the null-soul, you can either seal the fountain or remain in the dark world. If you decide to stay in the dark world, the credits will roll, revealing the secret boss restoring their life, ending with you and Wikee gazing at the great fountain. If you choose to seal the fountain, the credits will still play, but this time, instead of just you and Wikee, it will show the other secret boss looking at the great fountain before it was sealed, expressing gratitude for all you have done for them.

--What is this take about?
In the Deltarune Freedom edition, the Knight has plunged the entire hometown into darkness with the help of his followers, creating the GREAT Fountain. The Lightners are now lost, scattered throughout a vast dark world that connects various smaller dark worlds, forming a huge realm. 

You play as the vessel, teaming up with Wikee the Theorist Darkner to explore and uncover the truth about the Shadow Crystal and its effects on other Darkners known as Secret Bosses ( Called VIctims in story). 

These Secret Bosses are spread across the great dark world, each holding a Shadow Crystal for you to collect. Your mission is to work with Wikee to track down these Secret Bosses, recruit them, and obtain their Shadow Crystals to aid Wikee in her research. 

The Secret Bosses can come from other Deltarune characters placed within the great Fountain. For every Secret Boss you defeat, you can equip them, with a maximum of 7 assisting you in battle. Each one has an Offensive Ability for dealing damage and a Defensive Ability for support.

In this take ,the entire game is metroidvania. You can go in any order you want, to complete Wikee's Main quest, you must gather as least 7 Secret boss with different soul mode. There are other main quest you need to do to access the finale of the game, such as Rose's Main quest...Ect.
