Creative powerhouse Joe Moses (Need For Mirrors) returns to V Recordings with a four track EP. He requires little introduction and neither does the quality of his production, made clear by his most recent releases with us such as ‘Tidal Wavey’, ‘Slaves Of Empire’ and ‘Pagans’.

The first track ‘No Nukes’ is a homage to one of V Recordings most seminal releases, Warhead. With skippy drums and FX running over the booming bass stabs and Warheads original drum samples gifted by Krust himself. Need For Mirrors’ diversity continues through ‘Passive Aggressive’ and ‘Nipples’, both experimenting with extended sub-low frequencies to create two powerful pieces. ‘Jetson Elroy’ is the most melancholic of the four, with its soft, rich textures bringing the EP to a perfect close.

We would expect no less from this Soul In Motion co-founder, this EP is top-tier.

Liohness is a DJ & producer who has forged her own path and found her sound that demands respect. Her sets are a full spectrum of 170 bass music blending jungle, dancefloor, liquid, rollers tech and beyond.

Liohness is co-creator of bass music night 'Equilibrium'. A club night aimed at delivering DNB and representing womxn and female DJs in the scene. The night and cause is a subject close to Liohness and something she feels is increasingly important. Believing in diversity, equality & good vibes, she is proud to provide a platform for womxn in addressing the gender imbalance in the drum & bass scene.

Her performance credits include performing with tastemakers in the scene such as Bcee, Dexcell, General Levy, Keeno, London Elektricity, Whiney, & Technimatic. Festival appearances and career highlights include Sounds from The Other City, Highest Point, The Fortress stage at Beatherder, Woodland Dance Project, and Neucode San Antonio, Ibiza.

She is currently focused on her own productions. In 2021, she won runner up in a remix competition for renowned Bristol label, @sofasoundbristol. She is currently a mentee for Overview Music's production mentorship programme. In 2023 you can expect more releases from Liohness spanning many a flavour of 170.
