It's pretty unbelievable that DJ Marky's only just released his first solo album.

A magician on the decks and responsible for some certified drum 'n' bass classics (we all know the cries of "it's the way" from XRS collab 'LK'), the Brazilian's been in the business for over 15 years, dousing clubbers with his funk-laced tune selection in clubs like Womb in Tokyo, Space in Ibiza and Fabric, where he's invited the likes of Total Science, Marcus Intalex and Fabio along for his popular Innerground Records residency.

Belgium-based Danger lives up to his artist name with this massive 6-track debut EP for Radar Records!

Having first made a name for himself as one of the producers on the forefront of the Belgian jump up wave, he now takes a different approach to things with six dark rollers, referencing reggae and hiphop among other things. All six are big tunes in the dance, and will appeal to different people, but the EP is magnificently coherent as a whole with a strong common vibe in all of the tracks.

From the roots infused Babylon that nods to the Clipz era and the Demolition Man-voiced Cycle of Life, to the ruffneck business of The Brink and the NCT collab Lights Out, that sees MC Haribo spitting straight bars all the way through, every track adds its own flavour to the EP.

Paul T & Edward Oberon have cemented themselves as a house house name in the V Recordings camp since signing with us back in 2016. From their first releases through to the current day, their material has received constant support from the the drum and bass A-list, Goldie, Randall, Bryan Gee and Kings Of The Rollers to name just a few. These two producers are melting pot of styles and sub-genres, with their productions showcasing their ability to move effortlessly from liquid tones through to dark sub-driven atmospheres. 

Their first move of 2019 comes in the form of Look For The Light / Broken, two songs that are perfect examples of their ability to switch the mood with the click of a finger. Whether it’s the lightning fast stabs of Look For The Light or the thunderous bass of Broken, it’s undeniable that the pair have cooked up another storm. 

2019 is set to be a huge year for the pair, this being the first of many huge releases set to shake the scene.
