The sixth outing of "Clasicos Del Ruido" is a Barcelona-Madrid love affair.  The two cities are into rivalry in politics, football, culture, langages or pratically anything possible but when it comes to music and to spread some love for good electronic music, it's time to unite ! Aitor Arch makes some of the best underground parties in Madrid with its "Femur Club" and it's all naturally that he joined Barcelona forces of Moog Club composed by Der Kapitan & Gus Van Sound from Clasicos Del Ruido to select this mini-compilation. The four tracker here is a true european venture and nothing less of a symbol in this dark times for the continent as it gathers italian, french, british and german producers ! Hyboid, In Aeternam Vale, Kid Machine and Alessandro Parisi are invited to the table. We're premiering the latter here, being fan from the first hour and having invited him to play LIVE at Batofar some years ago alongside Mick Wills for a memorable party ! Hot on the heels of CY006 we have the latest quintet of past profanity and new nastiness. Unknown Precept’s Eindkrak serves up a grease dripping, ball bearing filled dish of “Shawarma.” After the entre comes a 90s treat. Kirlian Camera’s Angelo Bergamini’s side project with Celestino Pes under the name Andromeda Complex. Here the partnership offer the drums flailing beast that is “The Servant (Extract)”, tongue lolling, eyes bulging techno brutalism from 1994.  “4” sees GDL collide claps and low level bass line abuse as a thick haze gathers. On the flip. L.I.E.S. and Secret Studio scavengers, Circling Vultures are savagely “Feasting on the Caucus of the Fallen Divine King” before Bunker back row bully Klankman twists his knife into “The Servant”. Your latest dose of mean musical medicine has been served.

A new recruit has been drafted into the Broken Dreams ranks. Retrograde Youth, also known as Felipe Marín, takes up his position with four tracks of tooth and nail electronics. His style is ensconced in EBM, but trying to pin him down is near impossible. Guttural techno aches through the clang of metal and the rattle of rhythms, wave lances in with spiking synth lines as lost samples stalk. Music for scarred psyches that will leave hearts and minds raw.

Deemphasis is a french producer specializing in electro, acid and vocoder.
Originally from northern france, deemphasis was influenced in the late 80s by german, english, detroit and belgian techno sounds. in the 90s, he is very involved in the "demoscene" and uses "sound-tracker" to make music. Nowadays, he always uses the same approach.
it was at this time that he settled in clermont-ferrand, in the early 2000s, he began to do some concerts and he turned gradually to electro.

In 2010, deemphasis released its first 12 "ep" synthetic cells "on the umwelt label, newflesh records. Then, several ep and his famous album "mechanical beats" on ukonx recordings.

In this ep, deemphasis explores some of the feelings one can encounter in a post-apocalyptic world.
The opening title "my empire" is clearly oriented towards the dance floor and features a surviving robotic voice in a hostile environment.
An acid base consolidates the melancholy atmosphere.
The remix of "my empire" by the french producer "the observer" is a journey with some hypnotizing effects, deep experience and ongoing melodies take will take you to a different dimension, sounds rythmic, mysterious and variable... this remix are like a poetical description of some non-human race or nature of another dimension....

The b side begins with the track "obsession", presenting a long journey in the darkness. The mechanical rhythm sounds like a dehumanized factory fighting against continuous pressure.
The ep ends with a touch of hope, looking for a « rebirth », contemplating the galaxy full of stars.

Sophie du Palais,  also known as Vrouwe Fataal, is a German vocalist and recording artist from Amsterdam. Sophie du Palais’ sound mixes elements of sinister and commanding vocals – reminiscent of Miss Kittin’ – to create an infectious vortex of panic.

After a night of experimenting in a studio and uploading her their first track on Soundcloud, Pinkman Records stumbled upon the profile. She released twice on the Rotterdam label, which is known for having a third ear out for the very finest sounds of tomorrow.

Sophie du Palais’ and Identified Patient’s haughty, somewhat punky track  ‘Crush On You’ caught fire with the burgeoning international crowd and her stony vocals similarly lined up with their Dekmantel release “The drip” a year later. 

A series of early productions on various artists compilations were scattered throughout 2020.

While dance floors were going wild from Sao Paolo to Moscow, Du Palais was finalizing her debut EP. This collection of clubby productions with new wave sensibilities will be released on BFE Records in Summer 2021.
