BitterCaress is a French artist, Montreal-based DJ, label manager, and events curator. With a background in classical music, she fell in love with techno upon moving to Montreal in 2014. Since stepping behind the decks in 2018, she has quickly made her mark with a sharp selection that blends heavy bass, raw techno, and trancy atmospheres into a groovy, high-energy style.

Well-established in the Montreal scene, she has played at Stereo Nightclub, SAT, and Piknic Électronik, sharing stages with artists like Amelie Lens, Anetha, and Nur Jaber. Since 2021, she has gained international recognition through mix series and European tours, including a milestone Boiler Room debut in Montreal in 2023. As the driving force behind MFC Records, she uses her platform to support meaningful causes and push the scene forward.

With this mix, BitterCaress captures exactly where she stands musically—a journey through hypnotic rhythms, trippy textures, and trance-infused energy. It’s a blend of freshly unearthed gems and timeless classics, waiting to be unleashed.

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from E-bony. "303 Elements" comes off 15 Years of DAME-MUSIC v/a compilation forthcoming on Bloody Mary's imprint. The renowned French DJ, producer, Tresor resident and label owner Bloody Mary announces a three-part Vinyl series to mark the label's fifteenth anniversary. The first volume features a track from Bloody Mary herself and also welcomes back Thomas P. Heckmann, E-Bony, and Hardfloor to the imprint. Future instalments will see artists like Ben Sims, DJ Mell G, DEAS, Viikatory and Jerome Hill join the celebrations, among others. The release volumes come in a record sleeve designed by Philip Mercieca, with the three parts forming one collector’s item image. Today we premiere this big one from E-bony.

ANFS - Carbonic [SOMA SELECTS Premiere]

One Step Further est le projet musical de Milan Innocent, jeune DJ basé à Paris. Il puise son inspiration dans les émotions que lui communique la musique, qu'il extériorise à travers la danse ou, plus récemment, le mix. Influencé par des artistes comme Ancient Methods, Mind | Matter ou encore Hecate Legacy, il cherche à faire vivre à son auditoire une expérience transcendantale à travers sa musique, qu'il qualifie de "ceremonial industrial body music". Les sets de One Step Further tendent vers le rituel, et sont une invitation au lâcher-prise le plus total.

"How am I going to let out all those repressed, tormenting emotions ?" one may asks itself. Through this hour of uncompromising sounds, One Step Further tries to offer an answer to this complex matter. "Ceremonial chants, industrial grace" is an invitation to dig deeper into your inner self, a journey accross which you might make peace with your darkest thoughts and you brightest hopes, demonstrating that even among industrial violence, beauty can still emerge.
