Soundtrack for inermedial artistic swimming performance "Synchroscope" presented at "Biela noc - Festival of contemporary art, Bratislava 2024"

Synchroscope is unique fusion of sports and contemporary art, from literature and sound poetry to dance, music, and lighting design. This visually striking multimedia performance is the result of interdisciplinary collaboration between artistic swimmers, dancers, choreographers Monika Thüringerová (coach of the Slovak national team) and Addy (dance), lighting designers from CTRL_space studio, poet and performer Zuzana Husárová, architect Elena Šoltésová.

Together, they explore the symbolism of the water surface – emergence, distortion, and submergence of values, thoughts, actions, and relationships. In doing so, they raise questions buried beneath the surface (not only) about the state of our society and the search for truth amidst a flood of disinformation. This experimental kaleidoscope of art and sports, the first of its kind in Slovakia, promises an engaging experience for all generations.

October 2025 marks exactly ten years since the first broadcast of Radio Punctum. It was an episode of the show Altershapes that aired live from a makeshift studio, shared as a Shoutcast streaming URL on forums as it seceded from the now-defunct Radio Streetculture to found its own station.

To celebrate this special occasion, we are releasing a massive compilation featuring music from our station's past and present residents, friends, and collaborators.

The curatorial aim was to capture the breadth of our musical programming.

Expect anything from ambient to goregrind, ambitious experimental pop to outsider songwriters, and meticulous digital soundscapes to electro and gabber bangers, as well as electronic post-punk stylings — all mastered with great care by Yukimura at Mustakillah Studio.

And so concludes the first ten years of this traveling circus.

Vrtačky po desáté hodině is project of Ľubomír Panák /drakh/ a Slovak programmer, photographer, musician and sound artist, for experimental and noise music.
His electronic music pieces have appeared in collections Noize Conspiracy No. 9-13, he has been active in the Slovak experimental music scene also as a live dj and author of remixes and sets. He is a member of the Slovak electronic group Angakkut and plays bagpipes, fujara, flute and pipes in a folklore ensemble Gymnik. His photos depict mostly urban spaces and his (interactive) digital pieces use intermedial connections and computational possibilities.

The name of the project - Vrtačky po desáté hodině (Drillers after 10pm) - is quote from lyrics of track "Zahrada" by czech hiphop group "WWW". Also som of the track names are quotes from the lyrics of "WWW" tracks mostly from album Neurobeat.
