Who had the power to open hearts, wings and goodness into little humans beings…
One encounter can be as soft as un « Vol de Velours. » (A Velvet Flight)

Once upon a time, 
Two birds fell down to earth from a dark sky full of luminous stars.
Stars they were themselves to come across the path of two human beings.
Beings with an open heart, ready to take care of the two little birds under their wings…
Wings wide opened, the two little humans cared for the little birds, feeding them with love, living food and fresh water…
Water, as fresh and alive, conducted their love, flooding their tiny little bodies with luminous sparkles.

Lucky they were to make such a special encounter…
And lucky were those two little humans to create such a bond with wild feathery beings…
Lucky they all were to look after each other.

A bond that one doesn’t realize to be as strong.
Time flies and the little birds attempt their first flies.
Flies that make everybody happy around them.
Is freedom on its way?
The little humans believed deep inside they were ready to let them go…
But, were they really?

One night, the two little birds spent their first night out.
Too cold the night was for the tiny little creatures.
Unable to warm each other up…
They took off for their last ultimate flight the next morning. The « Vol de Velours. »

That morning, it is not refreshing water that flooded the two little humans.
Rather waves of emotions it was…
A dramatic moment for them two… filled with guilt, sadness and regrets.
Had they done the right choice for the two little birds?
To how many emotions were they confronted ?
Being so happy to save two lives, they also had to let them die…

That day, two humans fell down from the nest they had created.
Luckily that day, they came across the path of other little humans beings…
Beings with an open heart, ready to take care of the two little humans under their wings…
Wings wide opened, the group of little humans cared for the two little humans, feeding them with love, living food, fresh water…but also kindness and empathy.

Lucky they were to make such a special encounter…
And lucky were those two little humans to create such a bond with caring hairy beings…
Lucky they all were to look after each other.

What one gives, receives…

Dass in der Kreation dieses Casts bei @nurmiri eine gewisse Vorfreude auf die ersten Post-Lockdown-Gigs mitschwang, wirst du womöglich raushören. Oder ist das sowieso nur eine Frage der Perspektive? Klangen Quanatäne-Sets nur deshalb quarantänig, weil die Vorstellung von schwitzig tanzenden Menschen absurd schien und die pandemische Melancholie dich beim Musikhören in eine ganz andere Mood versetzte, als wenn du das gleiche Set in Excitement auf die anstehende (Downtempo-)Party gehört hättest? Sicher ist jedenfalls, dass dieser Mix von @nurmiri ziemlich phänomenal ist und die clubbig treibende Vorwärts-Stimmung mit den Vorzügen von Podcast-Übergängen vereint: super smooth und geduldig langgezogenen. Dazwischen viel organisch, ein wenig spacey, ein klitzekleines bisschen Drama. Und ein mystisch-verheißungsvolles Intro, das von meditativen Naturgeräuschen über Drums und Streicher bis hin zu Wummer-Bässen in sich schon eine kleine Reise darstellt. >>Wer bist du und woher kommst du?
Moini, ich bin Miri und lebe in Oldenburg. Das ist oben anner Nordsee :)

>>Wie kamst du zum Auflegen?
Bin schon seit ca. 12 Jahren in der elektronischen Szene in Oldenburg unterwegs. Wurde also immer wahnsinnig doll musikalisch inspiriert. Irgendwann fing ich an selbst Tracks zu sammeln, traute mich aber nie wirklich mal was daraus zu machen. Irgendwann packte mich dann doch der Mut und ich lieh mir etwas Equipment von einem Kumpel und fing an das ganze mal aufeinander zu mixen. Mir wurde es dann auch immer häufiger auf privaten Sessions gezeigt. Irgendwann bekam ein Booker einer kleinen Techno Partyreihe aus Oldenburg Wind davon und gab mir einen Opening Slot auf einer seiner Partys. das ist jetzt ca. 4 Jahre her. Seitdem will ich es nicht mehr missen. 

>>Was gefällt dir besonders an "langsamer" Musik?
Ich liebe es während ich Musik höre die Augen zu schließen und zu hören, was alles in einem Track passiert. Bei langsamer Musik finde ich, dass man das besonders gut hört. Holt mich einfach ab. 

>>Was hat dich für das Set inspiriert?
Die Euphorie bald wieder in den Clubs spielen zu können. Die Vorfreude auf so viele schöne Momente mit anderen Menschen, die die gleiche Leidenschaft teilen. 

>>Was ist dein aktueller Lieblingstrack oder Set?
Aktuell höre ich super viele verschiedene Sets. Am meisten holen mich aktuell treibende deepe Sounds ab. Wie zum Beispiel das Set von Frau Wildfang für We Are At Home. Das Intro dieses Set ist auch einfach super gut! ;)

>>An welchen schönen Moment denkst du in Verbindung mit elektronischer Musik gerne zurück?
Letztes Jahr im Herbst habe ich in Hamburg für die Meeronauten im Yoko gespielt. Mit dabei war unter anderem Judith von Waterkant, mit der ich wunderbare Gespräche führte und super viel Sekt getrunken habe. Und das Spielen vor so entspannten Menschen war auch sehr schön. Rund um guter Abend :) 

>>Was wünscht du dir in Zukunft fürs Nachtleben?
Mehr Safe Space, Mehr Awareness, Mehr Raum für Diversität <3

Grüezi miteinand 🌞⛰
Zum 55ten Igelkarussell-Podcast ist Anstoßen Pflicht, also lassen wir – zumindest virtuell – zusammen mit Daniel Imhof aus Bern die Krüge klingen 🥂 
Zunächst ein paar Worte zu seiner gewaltigen Schaffenskraft: Neben dem Auflegen und eigener Musikproduktion ist er in der Podcastserie von Echoes from Venus involviert, ein Züricher Label erster Güteklasse in Sachen Downtempo. Als Mitglied der Berner „Flanieren“-Crew veranstaltet er außerdem Partys für die hiesige Downtempo-Gemeinde. Und als wäre das noch nicht genug moderiert er schon seit rund 15 Jahren die Sendung Supernova des lokalen Kult-Radiosenders RaBe. „Was das Herz berührt und Harmonieherzen höher schlagen lässt,“ lautet die Devise der Sendung, die ihre ZuhӧrerInnen stets mit Musik verschiedenster Genres erfreut – von Ambient bis World Music ist für alle etwas dabei. Zusätzlich ist Daniel auch passionierter Yogi und bietet gelegentlich musikalisch untermalte Yogastunden an. Kakaozeremonie on Top und fertig ist das Rundum-Sorglos Programm!🙏

So facettenreich wie er selbst ist selbstverständlich auch sein Sound, der sich schwer auf wenige Genres beschränken lässt. Diversität betrachtet er als höchstes Gut und das prägt seinen Stil maßgeblich. Sein Mix für uns ist Balsam für die Seele in diesen unsicheren Zeiten und begleitet uns an einem angenehm roten Faden entlang von Anfang bis Ende durch ein pures Wohlfühlerleben der Musik. Auf jeden Fall etwas für Genießer und Träumer, die gerne mal die Augen schließen und sich an einen verwunschenen Ort im Grünen versetzen lassen – fernab der Pandemie und direkt hinein in die sommerliche Klangwelt.

“During this crazy year, forced by the lockdown, we have been focusing on studio production. At some point, we realized that we had in our hands some explosive tracks that deserved to be mixed to share a glimpse of our ultimate live performance.  
This live set, recorded during one of the few moments we had a chance to get together, is dedicated to the constellation of Sagittarius, our zodiac sign. 
It opens with a re-edit of  “Canto de Yemanjà”, a Brazilian classic dedicated to the Queen of the Sea, it goes on with an exclusive selection of unreleased and original tracks and it closes with “Yanez”, our first single of Paradisea EP recently released on vinyl for Salgari Records. 
We performed with the same energy that we would like to share live on stage, hoping that soon it will be possible again.”
