Miami, FL will always one of the most unique cities in the world. Everything from the culture, sports, diversity, and music are what makes the city thrive. However, twin brothers and Miami natives Murdarich Lil and Murdarich Big are the ones to break the cities Rap threshold.
 
So why MurdaRich? When they started off, the brothers didn’t know what name to go with – they knew they could leverage the “Twin thing,” but they thought that would be cliché. MRG Big and MRG Lil or Murda Rich Gang but what did that mean, what’s the reference, would people understand? According to MurdaRich Big, “when someone dies, you forget after a while.” But “everytime you say our name, they live through us everyday!” Their first friend to pass was Rich on a March day and their homeboy Murda, on the day most celebrate love, Valentines day. Both didn’t see 21, both hood tragedies.

These Overtown natives embody the current state of the urban side of Miami, which happens to be a side that few are exposed to. With their Honduran background intertwined with the roots of Miami’s inner city, Murdarich Big and Murdarich Lil unapologetically tell their story. A story that is shared with thousands of youths across the city. Inspired by the old soul of Soulja Slim and the new sounds of Young Thug and Ralo, this duo is on par to set the tone of Miami’s Rap scene for the next generation.
 
Opportunities are scarce where these two come from. Music was their only ticket out of a life of crime and violence. From being kicked out of multiple high schools and dodging conflicts with the law, it was the tragedies of the duos closest friends who were shot and killed, that they knew a pivotal change had to take place. The following day the brothers decided to dedicate their lives to music. Murdarich Lil and Murdarich Big’s sole focus is to keep Miami’s namesake alive and well for years to come.  They carry the torch for every kid who couldn’t get off their block and see anything outside the hood. Their music tells the story for those kids who couldn’t tell their own and provides hope those looking for way out.
