Spinning tunes since 2006 with a true passion for the Harder Styles of Dance Music, The Khemist manipulates the bodies of dancers far and wide with his harder sound and has always left ravers satisfied yet wanting more. 

The Khemist has represented the BLUE stage at Defqon.1 Australia since 2012 as well has holding a main room residency at MASIF Saturdays @ SPACE. Alongside his colleagues used to own and operate ESCAPE nightclub in sydney.

His sound derives from a unique mixture of old and new hardstyle with heavy influences from Noisecontrollers, Toneshifterz, Frontliner, Zatox, Brennan Heart, just to name a few, as well as a blend of his own edits, mash-ups & originals.

As a producer, he was taught Hard Dance Music Production by none other than Australian hardstyle legends: Code Black & Audiofreq (Formerly Bioweapon / BRK3).

Without a doubt one of the most promising up-and-coming hard-dance artists at the moment, VtheKid - also known as Vinod Saran Mohandas - has truly developed his own unique style of relentless, chest-thumping Hard-Dance.

Originally from his hometown of Malaysia, he has built for himself one of the strongest Hard-Dance brands in Australia, having played shows for none other than Q-Dance, as well as Melbourne’s biggest promoters including Hard Kandy and Evolution Events. 

Not only have his numerous releases been supported by the world’s best DJs in Hard-Dance - A*S*Y*S, ΛUDIƟFR€Q,Scot Project, Mark E.G, Side-E-Fect, Mike Steventon and Splinta just to name a few - but his live sets are what really defines him as an artist. With quick and flawless mixing, vigorous stage presence, and a never-ending barrage of that classic “kick and off-beat sub-bass”, it’s no wonder VtheKid was nominated for the 2014 Hard-Dance Music Awards as both ’Best Newcomer’ and ‘Best Producer’ after only just over a year after his first release.

The Re:Tox'D journey started over 10 years ago when the two decided to join forces and bring their love for Hard Dance and Hardstyle together. 
Over the decade they have played at some of the UK's biggest brands, with regular appearances at prestigious events such as Bionic, Firewall and Bodstock and even jetting to Ibiza in 2023, playing multiple sets on the famous white isle and even on a boat party in the middle of the Baleric Ocean!
Since then they have crafted their sound into what it is today - Tough, fast paced, Hard Dance music with heaps of energy and passion in every set they play. 10 years strong and no sign of slowing down, expect more to come from the boys from Somerset as they aim to take their sound into their 2nd decade of being one of the South West's most sought after duo's!

Toxic's distinctive sets of energetic, Reverse Bass Hardstyle have earned him a new world wide following of fans and was a regular at legendary award winning dance event, Bionic, with 2012 seeing him debut at the prestigious dance festival, Westfest! Going on to grace the Westfest stages another two consecutive years after that!
Just a few years after this he deservedly earned a spot on the line up at the biggest dance festival in the UK, Creamfields.

Not content with just mixing tunes, Toxic's musical prowess behind the scenes in the studio is undoubtedly where the talent lies. A frequent contender for the No.1 spot on Track It Down, Toxic has collaborated with a breadth of Hardstyle talent, including Frisky, Joey Riot, Swankie & Kashi, Mike Steventon, Tranz-Linquants & Ed ET & DTR and has also had airplay on Radio 1 by Kutski - a definite highlight of his musical career so far, with many of his tracks now set to become 'classic' Hardstyle tunes. Toxic is the master of creating crowd pleasing Hardstyle basslines, anthemic melodies & recognisable lyrics!
