Myrcene is a Barcelona based DJ and founder of @___textura. His style is characterized by psychedelic soundscapes and the exploration of unusual sensations, blending techno, IDM, breaks and crossing genres in a fluid and often unpredictable way. He shifts between heavy-hitting percussion and subtle layers of dub and ambient, drawing lots of inspiration from 90s and early 2000s releases.

Raucous rumblings and club centered grooves are the name of the proverbial game today as we premiere the latest from English imprint, Crescent London. The four tracker adeptly displays a wide array of auditory scope from a duo known as Abstract man. Ranging from the half-time thematic opening through to a thumping finish, it’s a well rounded release that works in many situations.

Flux, the title track of the release, brings the energy up a notch with steady percussion and bouncing saw-like synths that seem to shift and move through the beginning of the tune. Progressing on, a dark growl starts to emerge providing an aggressive edge that persists and compliments an atonal siren element.

Flux and the rest of Abstract Man’s release will be released on August 1st.

Harmony marches eastward with its 21st EP, reconnecting with its roots through a collaboration with Kohra and Monophonik. This release leans into a sharper focus on functional, dance oriented grooves and basslines.

A-side is opening with weight and intent, shedding the EP’s melancholic hues for something darker and more forceful. The gently broken spirit of “Uyire” follows, gliding between drones and gated vocals, stitched together by tactile percussion and an underlying volatility.

Duppy alias Stepart, owner du label Hologram Records et producteur reconnu dans la scène dub et dubstep et Epectase, artiste issue de la culture rave et bass, ont formé un duo spécialement pour le projet 42k rescues du label a89records.
Cette compilation inspirée par les 42 000 vies sauvées en mer par SOS MEDITERRANEE est construite à partir d’archives sonores réelles collectées lors des missions de sauvetage, transformant voix, sirènes et témoignages en musique qui portent la mémoire et la résistance.Tous les revenus seront partagés à parts égales entre l’ONG et les artistes participant·es.
À travers cette collaboration sur le morceau Interception, le duo positionne ses productions comme vecteurs de mémoire et de mobilisation. Terrain d'experimentation, mêlant sonorités des années 90 et marqueurs Bass Music puissants, la fusion Epectase et Duppy rebat les cartes de la musique club en y intégrant une variable émotionnelle.
