Mingote is a DJ, producer and Ovelha Trax’s label cofounder, originally from Covilhã and now an active presence in Porto’s electronic music scene. Always exploring new sound experiences, he is dedicated to fostering the growth and diversity of electronic music in his city.

Together with SupaA, he drives the vision behind the label, curating an eclectic roster of artists and embracing the vast possibilities of electronic music. His DJ sets, known for their dynamism, flow effortlessly between hypnotic breakbeats, the pulse of Detroit electro and acid twists.

Having performed at festivals such as Neopop or Sónar Lisbon, his name has become associated with an authentic and innovative approach to electronic music, marked by a constant search for new artistic directions. Offstage, he focuses on fostering an inclusive community, one that thrives on authenticity and the celebration of diversity. Through his projects and performances, he strives to contribute to the evolution of electronic music both locally and globally.
