I, the1jonoman, am a retired public school teacher and have played music most of my life.  I now have the time to devote to my original songs.  I play lead guitar w/classic rock band, OpusTaylor, in the Des Moines and central Iowa area. 
As Jono and the WhatNauts, I record my originals w/a wide range of musicians. You can find our album:  'Peace&Love&War&Peace'  (April 2018) at CDBaby, Amazon, iTunes, etc. and on most streaming platforms including Spotify and You-Tube.  Our new album, ’It’ll Be Okay!”, will be released  in 2025. The first 2 singles, 'Big, Blue, Beautiful World' (May2020)and 'Aurora Flashing' (March2021) are available now. 
I was inducted into the IowaRock’nRollMusicAssociation HallOfFame, class of 2021 on September 5th, as an Individual Artist  and again in theclass of 2022 on September 4th, with my college bandmates from ZINI (the only time a two-timer is a good thing)!
