PREMIERE: ESB - Channel Message [Constructed Grooves]

In the 209th episode of the podcast we present Anton Rvbbt, who was born in Samara and is a resident of Izhevsk community and label ABCD (Any Body Can Dance). Anton shows himself as a skillful selector and event producer, masterfully combining different aspects of electronic music and moving freely beyond genre restrictions. His music draws on his own inner experiences and unique backgrounds, making his sound unique and surprising. 

After the summer festivals, Anton found an opportunity to reinterpret already known musical material, transforming it into an exciting mixtape. He paid special attention to the structure of the mix, relying on two key phases - the beginning and the end, while not shying away from experimenting with different musical genres. From breakbeat and electro to house, techno and trance, Rvbbt fuses a variety of musical directions to deliver a unique musical immersion.

В 209-м выпуске подкаста представляем Антона Rvbbt, который родился в Самаре и является резидентом Ижевского комьюнити и лейбла ABCD (Any Body Can Dance). Антон проявляет себя как искусный селектор и продюсер ивентов, мастерски сочетающий различные аспекты электронной музыки и свободно перемещающийся за пределами жанровых ограничений. Его музыка опирается на его собственные внутренние переживания и уникальный опыт, что делает его звучание неповторимым и удивительным. 

После летних фестивалей  Антон нашел возможность переосмыслить уже известный музыкальный материал, трансформируя его в увлекательный микстейп. Он уделил особое внимание структуре микса, опираясь на две ключевые фазы – начальную и конечную, и при этом не стесняясь экспериментировать с различными музыкальными жанрами. От брейкбита и электро до хауса, техно и транса – Рэбит соединяет разнообразные музыкальные направления, чтобы подарить уникальное музыкальное погружение.

1. How and where was the mix recorded?

I recorded this set some hours ago December 3 of 2024,  in one of my favorite places that I had played in Barcelona till the moment, at 303 audiophile. They have openned their booth for me all the time that I need to, and for that I feel very very blessed and thankful.

2. Can you tell us about the idea behind the mix?

Inspired by the DSS! sound and how the cofounder Leo invited me to this one. I started the journey of this set thinking on some faces of my collection, It’s a side of my music that I haven’t been able to explore and share yet, a side designed for a club and the joy of  sharing into the dance floor.

It’s a mix of my music that is quite penetrating to the brain, like a bullet, and at the same time powerful, but leaving behind my dark and abstract side, bringuing that groovy gems ( My way of groove)  that I have. It’s one of those records that fills me with joy and happy tones.


3. What are you up to next? Projects, ideas…
I’m starting to share more music in my new musical habitat where I want to share more of my vision and the story I tell through my music, next year is packed with a lot of excitement and dates to share my collection and the stories through my sound. Soon, I’ll be releasing music with my duo, Acid Partners, as well as some unreleased tracks I’ve been holding onto for a while.

I want to continue growing the scene that shaped me in Central America, carrying on with my vinyl store project, Vórtice, and spreading culture in my region with all the knowledge I’ve absorbed over these past months moviging into Europe.

I still feel like I’m finding my path through my music, but we’re always walking it together, and thanks to it, I’ve found my way to where I am now.


4.- Lastly, for you what is Dance, Shake, Swing!?
For me, Dance Shake Swing undoubtedly conveys a lot of Sazon latino,  and the urge to move your feet and dance. It really defines its sound and is without a doubt a space where joy is truly shared. Sonido fresco, elegante y con mucho groove.
