With delicious multi-band processing and four simultaneous delay modules, MultiBender CM is your tempo-synced solution to creative delay processing. Conjure intricate percussion patterns, wild ping-pong synths, and grooving leads with just a few clicks.

Multiband Madness

The delay processing is split into three separate modules, which can all be adjusted independently. Drag the crossover points in the waveform display to quickly set up the frequency ranges of the three bands. Then choose a delay time (including dotted and triplet feel), feedback level, and gain adjustment for each. This means you can have a short delay for your low end and longer ones for mids and highs to send them bouncing around the room. On and off buttons for each band allow you to disable any unwanted processing, just in case you want to keep your bass line tight or mid-range clean.

Saturate, Crush & Detune

Standard delays for each of the three bands sound complex and expansive, but you can push the effect to the limit with three effects for each band. These run entirely independently and include saturation, bitcrushing, and detuning. Apply as much or as little of each process as you like to create different audio effects. Try introducing sparkling highs with saturated harmonics in the upper-frequency range. Detune the midrange delay for a wavering analog feel in the body of the sound. Make your bass line scream with crushed low end.

Looks are everything

The main window shows exactly what’s happening to each of the three bands as the audio passes through the plugin, valuable visual feedback to keep tabs on your signal transformations. The three colored waveforms clearly display the effect of each module’s processing allowing for accurate monitoring and surgical shaping at every stage of the chain.

With such a great reception to the original plugin, we’ve upgraded CHORDS PRO + NOTES with many new features: 

The most notable functions relate to the new “Notes” mode, an entirely separate interface page. This is a note-pattern editor embedded into the framework of the chord playback. So as well as playing 4 notes simultaneously for each chord, Notes mode can partition each chord into up to 8 segments with independent control over each note of each partition. This makes it easy to program piano melodies, plucked arps, trance-gate chords and much more. Along with the preset sequences, there are Copy / Paste controls and Repeat functions to help you program quickly.

Global Chords

Use the global controls to adjust chord inversions, length, speed and root key of the entire playback, making on-the-fly adjustments to your entire riff a simple process. To get into the detail, click a segment for more granular control over chord shapes (including major / minor variations), individual inversions and velocity.

Create & Compare

Use the A/B comparison toggle to lock-in a favorite sequence, whilst experimenting on another version of it. Hit the “create” button to intelligently randomize one or more chords in a sequence, based on the starting chords of your riff. CHORDS PRO contains 30 different chord types, with musical-sounding progressions for natural transitions.

Simple Segments

With up to 8 chord segments, each with up to 8 partitions, you can choose to trigger between one and four notes per chord. Then choose how to play these notes. The playback syncs to the host BPM of your DAW, always remaining locked in time. You can add and subtract segments with ease and change a range of parameters, independently for each segment.

About Neon Glow

The inner workings of this special plugin are a closely guarded secret, with the controls only hinting at the vast amount of special processing going on under the hood. In real terms, what you need to know is that many of these modules are interlinked, with transformations from one module affecting others in weird and wonderful ways. Inspiring, unusual and always musical; the output from Neon Glow will overhaul individual instruments, vocals, or even your entire mix with characterful transformations that bring Arcade’s own bespoke FX chains into your productions.

Lo-Fi

The central Lo-Fi control remixes your sound with new-retro vibes by using an elaborate network of processors and two extra submodules, Redux and Space. In the final mix, the Lo-Fi parameter controls the mix of Redux and Space as well as its own processors.

Redux

Controls a complex series of filters and bit reduction processors which are part of the Lo-Fi module, to add a digital retro sound to the signal. When set at 0, the effect has a minimal impact on the sound, only audible in specific material. Move the control clockwise or counterclockwise to hear the real magic, introducing bit reduction and filtering, both warmer and cooler, depending on which way you turn the dial. 

Space

Neon Glow houses a complicated network of chorus effects as part of the Lo-Fi module, and the Space control is where you’ll introduce these transformations for a unique sense of spaciousness. When set at 0, the effect is a retro multi-chorus chain. Twist the dial counterclockwise to add a more traditional multi-chorus effect. Move the control the opposite way to degrade the signal using the micro delays of the module. 

Wash

The Wash fader adds a special wash effect with spacial elements, using a configuration of filters, stereo expanders, and psychoacoustically widened diffusion generators. Use the Wash Character dial to change the essential attributes of the Wash effect. A whole rack of effect parameters are altered; from the sense of width, to late reflection values on the diffusion generators. Be sure to experiment with these two controls to give your audio the unique character it deserves.

Two controls which are integral to the creative mutations of ChromaBox are Space and Resonate. Space adjusts the amount of reflections within a simulated 3D space with character that’s dependent on color profile selection. Resonate controls resonant peaks that can ring out, again with timbre changes based on your chosen color profile. 

Visual Feedback & Comparison

ChromaBox is built on vector graphics with a resizable interface. A live frequency spectrum is displayed on the right hand side, showing exactly what’s happening to the signal as it travels through the plugin in real time. But here’s the headache - nothing kills the vibe quicker than hidden resonances and unruly harmonics creeping in to trash your mix. Enter DERES, where resonances meet their match! This plugin is your resonance-killing footsoldier, coming to the rescue to obliterate muddy sounds and pesky overtones that have been invading your productions. 

DERES isn't just guessing which frequencies need attention. It's working from the mathematical playbook of sound harmonics; uncovering hidden resonances that would otherwise fly under the radar of even the most eagle-eared producers. With preview functions, you can sneak a peek into annoying interferences before your cleanup operation. Then use the user-friendly interface and streamlined workflow to nix those nasty noises. It's like having X-ray vision for your soundwaves, dynamically adjusting resonant peaks in a musical way. Clarity is king, so make sure you clean house before you even touch that mixdown. 

Enhance, Identify & Reduce

The dedicated Listen button should be your first gadget in the DERES toolbag, allowing you to isolate irritating resonances with ease by exaggerating the frequencies. Sweep the 1-8 kHz range with the Find knob to easily identify unusual peaks that sound overly muddy or harsh. Then dial in the Reduce parameter to apply the processing, resulting in a cleaner signal. Tweak the Q value to widen or narrow the factor, catching more or less of the surrounding frequencies. 

Dynamic Relativity

A normal surgical EQ will only be effective on one tight frequency slice, whereas DERES can process all the multiple harmonics of your chosen frequency. Use the Octave knob to quickly reduce the relative components of the main frequency so you catch all those problem peaks. Normal static mode will cut resonances in a linear way. Alternatively, you can add in an advanced dynamic mode, for more musical processing that only steps in when you really need it. 

Compensation Station

Carving out bothersome frequencies cleans up the signal but can sometimes make the audio sound a little flat. DERES compensates for that with a suite of useful functions: Use the Tone button to adjust the tonal balance of supporting instruments such as pads and strings by applying convolution response and removing unnecessary frequencies. Boosting frequencies neighbouring those cleared by resonance removal, the Compensate knob adds a touch of brightness to counteract any perceived darkness in the processed signal. Utilize the Excite control to infuse air into all sounds post-resonance removal, elevating presence and sparkle to rejuvenate any lost energy. Add in a Mid/Side mode and low cut filtering and you’ll find DERES is a formidable asset for a wide range of resonance reduction tasks.  

Visual Feedback & Comparison

DERES is built on vector graphics with a resizable interface. A live spectrum is displayed at the top, to help you identify problem frequencies and show exactly what’s happening to the signal as it travels through the plugin in real time.
