Enzo Siragusa and Alexkid return to Fuse with their ‘Evolutions’ EP. Here the pair create two tracks that are the logical progression of the infamous ‘Kilimanjaro’ sound they crafted back in 2013 which has been a surefire highlight of Enzo’s sets of late.

Hailing from Paris Alexkid has over 20 years in the game under his belt. He is the proud owner of his own booking agency ‘510k’ housing some of the most promising talents the underground scene has to offer including Bella Saris and Archie Hamilton. Currently a resident at Rex Club via his own Deja-wu events, and also recently launching his Wu-Dubs imprint Alexkid still demonstrates a strong passion for electronic music and shows no sign of slowing down.

Alexkid steps up with his trademark dubby style on the flipside with ‘Wear Your Cape'. Razor sharp percussion and a cavernous bass take the track to deliciously lofty heights.

We are happy to introduce you to the second EP from by DC Salas on Biologic Records, the label that he co-founded and manages with the French Producer Abstraxion. They celebrated their 10 year anniversary at the end of 2015 and continue to release a string of EPs to mark the occasion. 

'When You Left’ is an EP that overcomes sadness. Times can be rough, but it never lasts forever. This original material is complemented by two powerful remixes: One from the mysterious Cliff Lothar, who is supported by people as diverse as Tiga, John Talabot, Delta Funktionen and Radiohead’s Thom Yorke. The second remix is done by the Australian producer Inkswel (BBE). 

This EP is an important step for the producer as he prepares his debut album ‘The Unspoken’ which will be announced by Biologic Records in the coming months.

20 year old Utrecht based producer Julian Alexander steps up for the next release in Infuse with a ep of raw house grooves. ‘Sweet Rain’ kicks things off, its deeply rounded bass and swung percussion imbuing the track with a real sense of groove. ‘Cabin Fever’ continues the vibe whilst ‘Present’ brings a sense of warmth; an undulating pad lending the track a more blissed out feel whilst ‘Straight’ furrows a tougher path with a dirtier warehouse kick and metallic percussion.

Fuse co-founder Enzo Siragusa steps up for productions duties once more with his ‘Hard Steppers EP’. ‘Flexin’ kicks things off with a pared down groover of a track; simplicity is the key here, all the elements combining beautifully for a deadly hypnotic head nodder.  ‘Jump Up’ once again harnesses Enzo’s Jungalist past with a typical rave-inflected, monstrous b-line underpinning the brisk percussive nature of the track, a real treat for lovers of the black wax as the track is strictly VINYL ONLY.

A couple of months ago, when we heard that we were going to get to mix our first Essential Mix, we had absolutely no idea what we were going to do. It's a very big deal for us to do this mix. We decided to use a lot of old records and tracks that we really liked when we first started playing together in our hometown in Poland. That's why, for example, we asked Jacek Sienkiewicz to send us 'Dream Machine' and also why we included Michael Mayer 'Speaker'.
There is a lot of old vinyl that we included especially for our Essential Mix. Harry Kane, T-RWKR, Arto Mwambe, Needs, Terry Brooks and one of our all time favourite records from Alex Cortex that we even edited specially. We really have to thank Axel Boman for introducing us to Bassroots 'Good Life' and Marcin Czubala because we discovered Sofrito Specials through him.
There is something from our label Pets Recordings, that our friend Nikola Baytala from San Francisco will put out at the end of May. It will be his first EP for many years and this track is probably one of the most trippy things we've ever released. That's why we love it so much! There are a lot of tracks in the mix that have their own story but, for now, we're gonna let the music speak for itself'. Catz 'n Dogz, April 2013.
