Been a little quiet...
With things starting to go back to normal I've been working even harder to make my production shine and pop! Been so busy doing new things and grinding that I wanted to present some new tuneage! I'm so stoked to start playing all these gigs over the summer :)

A journey into the crazy mind.

This first track is all about shadow work. I sampled the vocals from  "Daisy" by Ashnikko and created essentially a story that follows the crazy mind. In the beginning it is simple and repetitive with sultry female vocals that are intended to simultaneously provoke a sense of attraction and fear. The words ring out "Not this again!" as the sequence repeats once more. Following this we have a sense of calm and reflection that launches into a sonic jungle introducing more chaos and complexity as we get a sense of some beast or monster being held back lurching forward attempting to break free. After this tension builds there is the declaration "I Bite Back!" as the animal is unleashed in a manic flurry.

My submission for the chance to open for kLL sMTH at Cervantes on 10/21 ! It has been a personal goal of mine to share the stage with this man, pretty much since the inception of this project! Not to mention Bricksquash and Zen Selekta will be in the building... So here it is! This mix is a hybrid DJ set, utilizing songs from the scene that always make the vibe, my own original tunes, alongside some flips, mash ups, and live edits of all sorts. 

   I made this mix with dancing/party vibes in mind, beat never stopping unless needed for a breathe, to get everybody ready for the absolute shindig this man would surely be curating later in the night! It would be a hometown-throwdown for us both, and I would absolutely kLL for this chance!
