PREMIERE: Overturn - Cambios Inherentes (Van Morph Remix) [KitchenSync Records]

Mattia Fois and Panik Attak are two Italian artists based in London, united by a shared language of raw, hypnotic techno.

Coming from opposite ends of Italy, Mattia from Sardinia, Jacopo from the North-East, they honed their sound through years immersed in club culture and studio work, drawn to the darker realms of electronic music.

Their individual styles collide in a place of tension and drive: Mattia brings distorted textures, broken patterns, and a taste for unpredictability; Panik Attak delivers sharp, acid-laced grooves and fast, precise rhythms.

Together, their sound is raw and focused dark techno built on pressure, grit, and intricate detail.

We are proud to introduce the 58th guest of the Set the Mood series: Dica.

For Dica, a perfect opening set marks the beginning of a complete experience. It is an opportunity to create, tease, surprise, experiment, challenge, and draw the crowd toward the center front. An opening set is not just a warm-up, but a space to shape the energy of the night to come.

Dica began collecting vinyl in the early nineties and started DJing a few years later. Over the years, he has played at numerous venues and radio stations along the west coast of Holland. Today, Dica remains committed to vinyl-only sets, blending acid with electro, synth, wave, disco, techno, electronica, and anything else that fits in between. His signature sound is raw, dramatic, haunting—and always drenched in acid.

Some sort of heavy fog lifts as you delve into this release by Teik Arô. “Beyond The Tree” lets us in on a fractal orchard, revealing a bassline capable of lifting you off your feet, floating for its duration. 

Time seems to accelerate on the fragile pitches of “Embers From The Moon” and is euphorically reconstructed through the pulses of “Vicious Wipe Out” and freeze over on the weightless impermanence of “Insomnia”. 

“Morning Recipe” presents us with a hyperspeed, anxious euphoria, that seems to be lulled by the futuroid dub channels of “Cryptbloom”
