The word BIG can mean many things, depending on what you compare the subject to. The sun is BIG compared to the Earth. The Earth is BIG compared to a car. A car is... well, BIG, but you see where we’re going with this.

There is one comparison that we’ve missed out on: this Bleu Clair record is BIG, compared to pretty much anything else you’ve heard this year. Hell, maybe even this decade. The rising star’s production quality is absolutely on fire in this record, which blends snappy drums and chunky filtered chords amongst the amazing vocals of BOC local Rhiannon Roze. 

It feels like 2021 may as well be called year of the Bleu - his records on Insomniac and Monstercat have taken the lead on all platforms amassing him serious streaming numbers and industry clout. 

It doesn't matter where you listen to this thing, whether it be your headphones, your favourite DJ's stream or (if you are lucky enough) a CLUB - this thing is a BIG jackin’ hit!

Edge of Seventeen has been one of my all time favourite songs since I heard it in Jack Black's hit film School of Rock back in 2003... or maybe it was the countless times I heard my mother blast it out of our 2001 Chevy Venture minivan. The song is timeless, holding just as much power and energy today as it did back in 1982 when it was first released.

It was no doubt that when Destiny's Child sampled that iconic riff that they had something special. Bootylicious became a hit.

I had a blast whippin this one together and blending the two tracks. It's been a huge track in my sets and it's one track I always get so excited to drop.

My goal with “No Love” was to take elements of 90’s Hip Hop and R&B and place them within the context of my “Future Ghetto” style. I chose to sample TLC because “No Scrubs” is a true staple of 90’s R&B culture, and I wanted to see how vocal elements from the classic could convey a different vibe when paired with deeper instrumentation. I think the marriage between UK House style basses, trap percussion and TLC’s vocals offers an incredibly unique, novel and emotional take on R&B -  I hope my fans dig this one!
