Before diving into dub dimensions, members of Waitapu gathered strength and experience for many years in various spheres of hard underground sound. Through these years enough weight was built for them to submerge deep into the lakes of dub sound. Deep and heavy basslines, guitars, drums and wobbles, covered with thick psychedelic layers, drag you down into sub dimensions one moment and carry you high onto the mountaintops the next. You are dancing and traveling with them as they guide you through caves, rivers and forests, in circles, from our tribal beginnings to hyper technological future and back. Echoez is a collaboration between berlin based artists Spoke (Producer, Beatmaker, Engineer) and Phia (Singer, Guitarist, Songwriter). Both musicians are involved in berlins subculture scene since many years, celebrating female and queer artists of any kind. They founded the band Psychedelic Orchestra in 2008, and collected more than 10 years of live performance experiences while playing in various projects.  Spoke and Phia decided to create their own sideproject “ECHOEZ” out of the material they gathered from hazy sessions over the past years, also to make a statement presenting all-female written and produced music.
