I started this song on the drive into Buffalo, during the first snow I saw of the season. I wanted it to convey a growing storm, changing from a wonderous winterland of snowflakes falling into a blizzard, all the while feeling like a winter walk, whistling along.

"Our opening ceremony begins. 'Sacrifice The Pig' enters ears slowly and gathers hearts and minds in a ceremonious circle. A large ominous yet satisfying feeling lays over while deep, slow drum circle activity thunders through our bodies. We wind through cosmos of eerie cadences, spooky sprites, and what sound like moans of a boar. The fire burns brighter and bigger, climaxing fiercely, and then with a whisper, turns to coals and silence. The sacrifice has been made. It is time."
