I wrote this song with Imad Royal and Dave Lubben. My life and relationship were a mess at the time, so it’s sort of surreal looking back to the day we wrote it, not knowing at that time whether my wife and I would make it. It’s scary when you’ve exhausted all conversation, and I feel like a lot of those frustrations ended up in the song. There’s also a few lines in the first verse from Dave, already speaking from a place of my wife and I making it through, which is really beautiful to look back on now.

Song's Background & Story:
A few months ago, Kelli Schaefer and i were connected by a friend via the internet. He shared some of kelli's recent music, and i found a personal connection to the song "Bad For You". The heart-wrenching depth of the lyrics and kellis voice stayed with me, so i reached out to ask if i could rework the song as a personal exercise, without expectations. Kelli was excited to work with someone outside of her indie rock scene and sent the vocal acapella to see where it might go. over the course of the next few months, i reproduced the song and then we both decided to re-release this new version as the first single on my forthcoming debut EP release.

Ghost Beach - Miracle

Postiljonen is a dream pop trio deriving from Scandinavia. The band emerged quietly back in September 2011 and is composed of Norwegian vocalist Mia Bøe alongside Swedish multi-instrumentalists Daniel Sjörs and Joel Nyström Holm.

After releasing a handful of online only singles in their native Scandinavia (including the heartbreaking interpretation of Whitney Houston’s classic ‘How Will I Know’, renamed here to ‘All That We Had Is Lost’) the trio have managed to create a highly characteristic sound, where ethereal and alluring vocals are interwoven in a mystical, ambient, dreamy and lovable expression. They have been compared to the likes of M83, Air France, Sigur Ros, jj and Cocteau Twins.

Taking inspiration from old black and white movies, the golden 80s, Balearic scenery, sleepless summer nights and describe themselves as nostalgic daydreamers, all of which mirrors beautifully within Skyer’s ten songs.

Featuring singles ‘Supreme’ and Atlantis’, Skyer is summery pop music at its best; made for lazy days and dreamy nights.

Skyer is released on July 22 2013.

Postiljonen - Atlantis

“For me, the band makes music that makes you feel like anything is possible,” says Chase Bader, the lead singer and acoustic guitarist for Waker.

A six-piece ensemble from Nashville, Tennessee, Waker’s sound spans the American musical spectrum. The group combines the spirit of classic rock, the pathos of Motown soul, the restless experimentation of jam-band music, and the songwriting acumen of the best indie rock and what results is a wholly original and stirring aural gumbo. It’s this unique sound that’s earned them slots on stages at Bonnaroo, Hangout, and SXSW.

This year, the band is poised to release its debut album, Fresh Out. Produced by Lincoln Parish, best known as the lead guitarist for Cage the Elephant, the album is the story of an American road band in the year 2020 and the trials and tribulations they’ve had to endure along the way.
