Having been actively involved in the music industry on a global scale for over a decade, Perth based DJ Kalon found herself naturally sliding in behind the decks. Her infectious love & passion for true underground music is definitely no secret to those who know her.

✨ Today I have a special guest in my show. t’s truly an honor for me to have him participate in this Guest Mix ✨ Since his first track "Hidden Pathway" his music has been a huge influence for me, and many of my sessions have included his tracks. So, I’m filled with pride that he has agreed to be a part of this series. I hope you enjoy this beautiful journey as much as I do 💚✨🕊️

Biography:

With dance music roots that stem from a love for 2000s trance and techno, Texas-born Andrew Pinkowitz turns lifelong curiosity into creative opportunity by diving beyond the static noise of daily life into the deeper textures of organic house. Pinkowitz’s productions blend the ethereal and the melodic, creating dynamic dancefloor explorations of darkness and light. Digital life in the pandemic age brought about his first release, a collaboration with Mexico’s Ricardo Angeles released on Sound Avenue in 2022. That track, “Hidden Pathway,” was followed by entries on Nordic Voyage, Keyfound, 3rd Avenue, Amulanga, and The Purr. His work has received support from the likes of Hernan Cattaneo, Eli Nissan, Fernando Ferreyra, Death on the Balcony, and artists around the globe.

Closer to home, Pinkowitz is a collaborative leader in the lush landscapes of Colorado’s rising melodic house scene as a member of the Sky Terrace Collective. On the decks of Denver’s Club Vinyl, Mockingbird, and The Church, he fashions discourse from downbeats, combining danceable favorites with uncommon treasures and samplings of works-in-development. Pinkowitz’s affinity with audiences forms compass points in sonic journeys that have led to supporting Lee Burridge and Durante - which guide his path toward innovation and evolution in the years to come.

Dreamcast 33 I Guestmix by Pinkowitz

The duo Two Turntable returns with strong creative energy on their new release, Inspire Me EP, delivering two Liquid Drum and Bass tracks shaped by introspection and sonic experimentation.

The opening track, “My Jazz is Jungle”, acts as a bridge between tradition and innovation: deep, organic basslines intertwine with jazz-inspired improvisations, recreating an atmosphere that nods to the genre’s roots while pushing into contemporary territory. The beats flow smoothly, guiding the listener through a journey that shifts between contemplation and motion.

The title track, “Inspire Me”, expands on this concept with an even more immersive approach. Here, the basslines take on a more experimental character, blending with ethereal pads and pulsating rhythms that evoke both hope and reflection.
