Today we want to present you our sixteenth Mystic Cast. This time no one else than the legendary https://soundcloud.com/deepandi recorded a set for us.

Deep Ändi is an integral part of the Easy Tiger crew from Jena. He has a special talent to produce unique and driving downtempo beats. When we stumbled upon his first live-set that was released in 2019, we were absolutely stoked and listened to it over and over again. It makes us especially happy to release this Mystic Cast with him and we are looking forward to join forces more frequently in the future.

This hybridset is a very emotional dive, I played variations of it during last summer. I got asked many times to upload a recording and I luckily managed to do it very last minute before the baby comes.
Experimenting with mantras I created using my mother tongue, Bavarian dialect, that has a very soft sound in comparison to standard German. 
I felt very rooted and connected to my rollercoaster emotions I had the last months - and to the little life growing inside of me. 

Thank you for all the support and the beautiful and intimate atmospheres we’ve created together, you made me feel very safe to perform and show myself vulnerable - I felt stronger than ever.

It’s hard to translate some of the “Mantras” - even to German- because it feels like the simple words mean way more than their translation can show - but I will give it a try.

Dua di ned obe 
(“Don’t bother, don’t worry”)

Und amoi und aufamoi 
(“And suddently”) hear i di, sieg i di, spür i di (“I hear you, I see you, I feel you”)

Des duad ma ned - aber es duad ma ned leid 
(“You are not supposed to do this” - “ I am not sorry”)

Du stehst in deim Schatten - und i spring über mein’ 
(“You are standing in your own shadow - I am leaving mine behind”; jumping over your shadow means to overcome your fears, wrong attitudes …)

(“And sometimes I am still thinking of you”)

(“Are you thinking of me sometimes too?”)

Imma weida, weida nauf, schneller umanand
(“Always further, further up, faster around”)

Geh weide, nimm mei Hand, hoit ma zam, immer weida miteinand 
(“Come, take my hand, let’s stick together, always further together”)

Do daad i mi ja da Sindn fiachtn 
(“I would be afraid to commit a sin”; sarcastic expression to point out narrow-minded and conservative attitudes and rules)

Oba mi mog oda oba mi ned mog, ob sie des mog oda des ned mog, obi des mog oder des ned mog, obi mi mog, oda mi ned mog

(“If he likes me or not, if she likes that or not, If I like that or not, if i like myself or not”)

Am 23. Mai durfte ich im Klunkerkranich den hinteren Floor eröffnen – genau zum Sonnenuntergang. Die Stimmung war magisch, die Aussicht wie gemalt, und die letzten Regentropfen endeten mit der ersten Kick. 

Dieses Set steckt voller persönlicher Momente. Es enthält Tracks von meinen ersten beiden Alben, ein paar noch unveröffentlichte Stücke vom kommenden Release und Musik von Künstler:innen, die mich schon lange begleiten und beeinflussen. PsyTechno ist mein Ort zum Abtauchen – und an diesem Abend war alles im Flow.

Die Crowd war voll da, die Energie roh und ehrlich, und ich mittendrin.

On May 23rd, I opened the back floor at Klunkerkranich right as the sun was setting over Berlin. The air was warm, the view surreal, and the moment felt electric. As the first basslines rolled out, the dancefloor started to move – and I was right there with it.

This set means a lot to me. It blends tracks from my first two albums, some unreleased material from my upcoming project, and sounds from artists who’ve inspired me deeply over the years. PsyTechno has always been my space to get lost – and this evening was one of those rare times where everything aligns.

Raw energy, hypnotic grooves, and a room full of people fully in the moment.

So entspannt wie ein Sonntagmorgen,

zu unserem ganz entspannten Sonntagmorgen trägt heute JυɳɠBɾυɳɳҽɳ bei — mit 19 Jahren verliebte sich Tobi in Vinyl - zwei 1210er und ein DJM600. Diese wurden fortan fester Bestandteil seines Lebens - das war im Jahr 2001. Nach vielen Jahren mit Musik waren es 2018 die ersten Downtempo-Vibes und ein Genre dem er sich nicht mehr entziehen konnte, was ihn zu zu @bogusbullets bewegt hat.
Seine Sets spiegeln fast immer die persönliche Stimmung wider. Meist ein Slowstart, ruhig und stimmungsvoll mit catchy Vocals, dann gleitend ins Treibende und Düstere. Wenn es passt, wird noch mit einer Prise Rave garniert.
