Requiem (excerpt)

A musical depiction of war from a fantasy perspective. 
The first piece is FOREST FLUTE, where we hear a peaceful,bucolic melody, but in the middle of the song there is tension;something bad is coming. Then the peaceful atmosphere comes back,or is denial.
Next is DRUMS OF WAR,where the initial horns announce the enemy at the gates, follow by a section where the soldiers are saying goodbye to their loved ones. And then chaos.
The third piece is AFTERMATH, in this one the melody represents the anguish and sorrow for the fallen.
The last composition is HOPE. This is not a happy song, after all there is death and destruction. But nevertheless , the hope of a world without war. Just a hope.
