We are a post hardcore band hailing from the grimy ghetto of East Colfax, Denver with one hell of a story to tell. With influences such as The Fall of Troy, The Beast of Bailey Downs, Friends With Benefits, Miss Fortune, Acidez, and At the Drive in. We formed when Mykhal Hanz was kicked out of 
The Beast of Bailey Downs for starting fights with Nate Pinto in December of 2015, and have been making music ever since, we currently consist of Michael Paridise, Lead Vocals, Joe Ippolito on the Bass, Mykhal Hanz on Rhythm Guitar and Scream Vocals, and Austin Blitzer on Drums. We will have some new tracks up soon and hope you enjoy. We love our fans as we love our family, so if you join our army you become our family, cause it's for the love of bad ass breakdowns. In that same sense if you throw shade blow your brains out the back of your skull.

Orlando “Oz” Ortiz, grew up in the Bronx, New York on 161st and Park Ave, which he fondly describes as “the poor side of Park,” in comparison to the same Park Avenue in Manhattan, which is populated with a mass of wealth. Yet, it describes his upbringing, in a community diluted with propaganda of people trying to live in ways that could never be fully obtained.
Being born in the birth place of the genre, known as Hip Hop/Rap, Oz was obviously exposed to music. But, it was in junior high school, when music became a personal ambition for him. He recalls stumbling upon a composition notebook. “It was filled with rhymes, thoughts and ideas,” he reflects. As he read the book, he began to envision himself developing a promising career. “I realized everything begins on a very small and personal level,” as he thought of well-known artists, such as Jay-Z and Alicia Keys. Moreover, inspired by all the local artists who rose from humble beginnings within his same streets, amassing to the levels of success they have achieved. It flooded his mind, and he inspired to strive for the same goal.
                  Oz’s first piece of art was written on a fifteen minute train ride from the uptown Bronx to the rough South Bronx. It was a spoken word piece primarily detailing the troubles and influences common people were unaware of and the interactions between one another. In this train ride, from his girlfriend’s residence to his destination, Oz managed to observe and discuss how unorganized and chaotic the world is. Passionately, he painted the picture of how we live in a society where no one trusts each other, and how much easier life would be if we could all work together.
                  As he grew older, his view on music seasoned as well as the methods he desired to express himself, and his perspective on women. He didn’t enjoy listening to music that bashed and degraded the opposite sex. He was maturing and coming into his own, not only as an artist but as a man. Oz makes it a point for his listeners that he understand and fully grasps the idea of sex, and the importance thereof, but he obliges to respect the intimacy of it. He strives to provide an alternative view that, although without it we wouldn’t exist, but sex isn’t all that life has to offer.
                  During a trip to the studio with his friend, who was recording at the time, Oz’s relationship with So Phenomenal Entertainment began. A relationship that began with the exchange of BBM contact information to now, where Oz has recently completed his first mixtape entitled: “Mind Your Own.” The mixtape is 16 songs in length and was released in early February. The mixtape has received high accolades from two professional review, and socially reviewed at 4 stars. The concept behind the mixtape is for listeners to exercise their minds and understand the messages in the music they are listening to. Oz wants to get his listeners thinking about life and what makes it tick. “Everyone wants cars, clothes, and hoes. Nobody wants a peaceful world. I don’t blame them. I mean, if you’re taught shit, I guess in the end, a human is just a reflection of what they have been exposed to, nothing more, nothing less,” Oz says when asked about the struggle people have of grasping the full concept of life and separating what’s real and what’s not. “The struggle I have is, I live in a world that is diverse in ideas, and people; all focusing on just one thing, making money. Money, Power, Respect. One thing leads to another. But when you only value money, and cars, and clothes, and all of the non-essential elements of life, you don’t need any of those things to be happy or live life like you are happy. In reality, what tends to happen is you turn into a selfish human being, and forget the position of power you hold.”
