"So Far Away" is a dedication to an inspirational man who came to brighten up our lives. He gave us hope through his words, through his smile and his melodious voice. Gorapapa as I would call him, was always there to lend words of advice no matter the situation. He had always created a jolly and uplifting atmosphere wherever he went. This song is my tribute to him, for all he was to us, and all he will be for us in our hearts and minds as we now continue on this journey of life without him. We pray to Allah to keep this precious gem of our family in His care, until we meet again in Jannah, InshaAllah. With a heavy heart this song was written and it is my hope that I could even in the least do justice to the man that was, Hafez Imtiaz Bata.

TROUBADOUR...the wondering, wandering musician...forever searching and expressing...that is who i am. this song I composed is in the making...the melody is done using guitar whilst the lyrics are being penned to sing to it. the essence of the lyrics will be metaphorical describing the engagement and interaction between the troubadour and the audience. as the cover suggests, the black wolf is dependent on the white wolf and vice verse. in the same way the song with lyrics suggest that without an audience the troubadour does not exist and without the troubadour the audience cannot exist. we are after all a part of the natural universe...one with no beginning and no end...from destiny to eternity...

“Seed”, written, composed, arranged, produced and performed by musician Jeremy Karodia in 2013 is sung as a seed in the first narrative. The song is based on the threat of the extinction of our natural seed banks. From a holistic point of view the threat of global climate change and patency of indigenous species by multinational corporations threatens the virtual extinction of our fauna and flora and life as we know it. Just as water and air are being privatised, so are our natural seeds which are being threatened by GMO versions which literally obliterate our natural seed supply, thereby effecting extreme food scarcity and world hunger. Social injustices are all related to these things and as the SEED says… if I die…we die…simple as that.
