LaVey (resident Cult techno) is a hard techno DJ from Pretoria, South Africa, who conjures dark magic to transcend the dancefloor. With a mastery of hypnotic melodies and a deep understanding of the power of dark and driving rhythms, he orchestrates environments  that manipulate the euphoric energy of the dancefloor to achieve the maximum impact of the dance ritual. With a powerful combination of thundering hard techno kicks, basslines and sinister, otherworldly soundscapes, LaVey's sets transport his listeners to a different realm of bliss where we communicate with the language of dark and taboo sounds.

In the hypnotic/Raw underground scene, his sound varying from groovy leads to hypnotic, abstract sounds with hard hitting kicks and groovy percussion that is bound to keep you on your feet, he has been featured on labels such as koncept and Underground Africa, and was apart of the very successful VA From them called “contamination” which reached number 1 on the beatport top 100 charts for raw hypnotic techno. He has been producing since 2018 and continues to polish off his unique sound.
