It's called "Plug & Play" because I plugged my SG into my Marshall...and played. All one take, including some fun string noise. I created the jam track, which is really just me playing a bass groove along with a drum loop. I hope you enjoy. It was sure fun to play.

Plug & Play

A partial remake of my earlier rearrangement of Frédéric Chopin's Revolutionary Etude, Op. 10 No. 12. 

A Sunday excercise where I laid down a bass part with the Jazz Bass Ultra on top of my earlier rearrangement. I played the electric piano part originally 2.5 years ago as midi in several takes. Also some midi note corrections and quantizations were made back then especially since the changing of the rhythm turned out to be more difficult for the left hand than I expected.. I'm not a pro bassist but it sure was fun playing this! I also didn't want the bass to steal all the attention from the keyboard part:)

Ethereal sensations of shiny dragon’s leather and troll fur, in your bed and in you bath and in your milky dreams of oak and halberds.
I crave for the tinkling of ten thousands cybernetic bees buzzing  around the pomegranate of my intricate emotions, tantalizing my tits,  and releasing the endorphins that keep me alive in a solution of poisonous thoughts. 
Your fizzling feet feed the psychopomps with the crumbs of your illusions.  Like a Hierophant in love, I will synthetize the fragrance of your sweat, and drink the wine of your gaze, and kiss your boobs and your boots. 
Sweating under your command, I swallow you imagination and the fluffy bouncing monsters of your polyphony play with my ears in an opera of mystical strawberries. 
My glass boots tinkle on the bridge of our passion as we surpass the bondage of geometrical algebra in our creamy foreplays. 
The neural network that decides which music we like, will explode under the purple blaze of our desires. Freed by Malenia’s Scarlet Rot, we shall seek new achievements for our misguided lives. In a romantic reckless move, we will go happily to a naked party at the sushi bar in Dagon street.

This tune is part of a concept album of mine that never was, but I’m still hoping to complete it in the future (one should never ever give up!). Essentially it is a demo of the main melody for a piece that will always be close to my heart.

Oblivion by Astor Piazzolla

I was listening back to my band from back in the 90s This Elegant Chaos and thinking this needs to be heard again. 
This was a band that formed quickly from other bands we had all been in previously.
With 90s Britpop/ Indie Alternative Rock still very relevant. I thought these tracks need a fresh outing. 
I would consider this band to be some of my best work to date. 
So I’ve decided to release a track every time I have a space in between current releases. 
This track Dreaming Of Johnny is about a dream I had about meeting John Lennon after he faked his own death to be free from media/ music industry pressure. He was living in Walsall on Sea in the West Midlands in a flat. 
Yes I know it doesn’t make any sense but it’s a dream. Tells the story of meeting him and explaining why he faked his death. 
The band were formed  in 1997 by Simon Bayliss and myself .
Simon a bassist and me a vocalist we had a handful of songs that needed a band of seasoned musicians to bring them alive. I recruited former band members of previous projects Lee Hughes & Rob Adams (guitarists) and Dave Robins (drums). 
Within months the band were recording and playing live with several labels showing an interest. 
Our first deal was with Holier than Thou Records but we left without releasing anything due to financial reasons. 
Our first release was a  7 Track 
EP “Hello Thane” on Quicksilver Records, quickly followed by our  debut album Virtue Circle released on Underground label Music & Elsewhere, which became a best seller for the  label. 
The album was then remastered and re-released back on Quicksilver Records in cd format, re-intitled “Virtue Circle Revisted”, M&E dealing with distribution.
Probably the best work to date was the final album Magino Line also released on Quicksilver Records. Unfortunately Simon had to leave before the second album due to work commitments with Artist Naomi of Gut Records. This lead to ‘Sarge’ Mark Sargent taking over bass duties. 
This Elegant Chaos bowed out in 2001 after the previous years sell out gig at Ronnie Scott’s. It was a wonderful time to be in a band with such talented musicians. 
Early 2020 we were released again on Music & Elsewhere to celebrate the labels 30th anniversary. This was a collection of the labels favourite songs in a download format.
