One of Walking and Falling's primary founders, Sam Kern aka @sassmouth, is our contributing artist for the eighth installment of the series.  In addition to being a mentor to many women and nonbinary artists through Walking and Falling, Sassmouth is a Jill-of-all-trades: labelhead of God Particle, long-time Smartbar resident, Planet Chicago event founder, plus Chi-based Naughty Bad Fun Collective AND SF-based As You Like It affiliate.  She is undoubtedly a staple of the Chicago scene (and the global underground), and her prowess and versatility as a DJ is remarkable - shifting through the worlds of Chicago house, to techno, acid, electro, and beyond.  And no matter what's she's playing, she always knows exactly how to get the crowd moving.

For this mix, she has taken it a step beyond, giving us an eclectic and yet extremely smooth, flowing mix that begins with feel-good dub and reggae, before skillfully moving into more the angular rhythms of dance music. 

We are absolutely thrilled to showcase this artist.  Walking and Falling would not exist without her!
